Summary
Features: The popular exhibit that has been amazing visitors all over the world with its celebration of the human form has found its way to Vegas, and it can now be viewed at the Luxor Hotel and Casino on the Strip.
Why We Go: Bodies the Exhibition isn't your ordinary, run-of-the-mill attraction, and that's why we like it. The Exhibition displays over 200 human bodies that have been preserved and displayed in ways that showcase the human body in rest and in motion.
- Easy Education: You can probably learn what Bodies teaches you by reading an anatomy textbook, but there's no way that it would be as fascinating or interactive as experiencing the exhibit firsthand.
- Peace and Quiet: We can't begin to explain how refreshing it is to get a little peace and quiet while in Vegas, and Bodies the Exhibit provides that atmosphere as visitors

Bodies the Exhibition - An inside look at the human body
Bodies: The Exhibition is actually pretty gnarly. You will be simultaneously amazed and nauseated inspecting the real-life bodies on display. So yeah, it's a bit of a roller coaster ride of emotions, especially when you enter the room of fetuses (which is clearly marked in case you want to skip it), but I came away with a new appreciation for the human body, to be sure.
The first thing you should know is that this is a museum. No pictures, very little talking - you know, the standard museum experience. Depending on how quickly you move (and read), it takes between 30- 45 minutes to see everything. You'll learn about every aspect of the human body, from muscles to bones, arteries and body parts. And yes, in case you were wondering, you do get to see a real brain from close up.
Most of the full bodies on display are propped in athletic stances, so you can see what a pitcher's muscles look like when he's throwing a ball, or the bones of a running back making a sharp cut. The bodies are incredibly preserved, down to the last detail. It really makes you appreciate just what an intricate system the human body is, and the way each part relies on one another to survive.
While in some cases you can see almost a little TOO much (the skin display, in particular, will make u shiver), overall Bodies: The Exhibition was a really informative and fascinating attraction. That being said, you will walk out of there slightly more paranoid about that mole on your neck or that tightness in your knee...

Initially I was shocked at "Bodies The Exhibition"
We recently went to go see Bodies The Exhibition and initially, I was shocked. However, after a few minutes I was able to get over it and admire the beautiful complexity of the human body. I myself am not a science enthusiast, but I found the exhibit very interesting and the descriptions on the displays were enough to help me understand what I was looking at and held my interest throughout the entire exhibit. We got really lucky when we went because there were no crowds what-so-ever. We both really enjoyed our time but felt that $25 was a bit pricey (and an extra $5 each for the audio).

Bodies
This is a fascinating exhibition to visit. They use REAL human bodies which have been preserved. I never realized how developed a fetus is at only two months. You can clearly make out the face, hands, feet, body. They have actual patients with diseased organs from smoking, Cirrhosis (liver disease if you drink too much alcohol), COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (a heart condition usually from smoking). I don't suggest bringing children to this exhibit, it's very descriptive and real.
