Summary
Features: The Guggenheim Hermitage Museum is a museum at the Venetian Resort and Casino that features famous works of art from masters and lesser-known artists in its modest space.
Why We Go: Culture continues to find its way to Las Vegas, as evidenced by the arrival of the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum at the Venetian. We appreciate the fact that Vegas is not only about slot machines and buffets, but also fine art.
- Changing Exhibits: The Guggenheim Hermitage Museum brings in at least ten different exhibits a year, this means that there is almost always new art to see.
- The Masters: No matter what the exhibit, there will inevitably be some works from the masters, like Picasso, Monet, etc., etc. and we wouldn't pass up the chance to see them.
Inside Knowledge: With the price of admission a free audio tour is included, it is informative and interesting and will guide you through the history and creation behind each piece of art.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do Take Your Time: Although the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum is relatively small, with just four rooms, you should still schedule about two hours to make your way through.
- Don't Drive There: Parking at the Venetian is notoriously nightmarish, you can park easily at one of the other properties on the Strip, and walk to the Venetian.
