Why We Go: An Imax Theater is just one of those things that you have to experience to truly appreciate, and the one at the Luxor does it just as well as any Imax we've been to.
- The Third Dimension: 3-D films are becoming more and more prevalent and widely-released, and an Imax theater is by far the best place to watch a 3-D film.
- Traveling from Your Seat: The films that are shown at the Imax Theater at the Luxor are generally National Geographic type movies that take you to places of the world that you could never see otherwise.
Inside Knowledge: The Imax Theater at the Luxor is relatively small. There are only four rows of seats, which makes your experience watching the film all the more intimate.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do Bring Kids: It's almost a guarantee that kids will get a huge kick out of putting on the 3-D glasses and seeing an Imax film.
- Don't Go If Your Antsy: One of the unique things about the Imax at the Luxor is that bars go across the seats, essentially strapping audiences in, this won't be enjoyable for someone who's claustrophobic or likes to move around.

Worth the watch
The Imax theaters are fun and relaxing after a lot of walking on the Vegas strip on a hot day, the air conditioning feels great. it makes you really FEEL like you are experiencing what you are watching and the 3D is amazing.
