Summary
Features: Elegantly showcasing masterpieces by some of the art world's most respected names, the Bellagio Fine Art Gallery is a surprising alternative to standard Las Vegas debauchery.
Why We Go: In a city known for its less-than-classy pursuits, the Bellagio Fine Art Galley offers a welcome opportunity to bask in elegance and culture in the heart of Sin City.
- Big Names: Past exhibits have included such headliner names as Pablo Picasso, Edgar Degas, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Roy Lichtenstein. The gallery is updated periodically with new exhibits featuring contemporary pieces to classic showstoppers.
- Video Installations: At the end of your gallery tour, a short video component is usually available focusing on a specific artist or art period.
Inside Knowledge: The BGFA was the setting for Julia Robert's workplace in Ocean's 11.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do Take the Audio Tour: A free self-guided audio tour is provided with admission and is a valuable tool in learning about the individual masterpieces.
- Don't Pay Full Price: Admission is pricey for the small gallery, but there are discounts available for seniors 65+, military, students and locals. Children under 12 are also free when accompanied by an adult.

Crowded and small
The rooms are a bit small, so it's hard to take some of the paintings in, the lighting was bothersome to me because of the glare on some of the works. The audio really talked more about the artists and their relationship to each other and what was going on in their lives more than the actual piece itself, which I found annoying. The price is $15. A little steep but you figure this is Vegas...is anything cheap? The crowd was a little distracting, to say the least, the Gallery is very small; at times, it was so crowded, you could not find a good 'vantage' point to view a painting, try to go when the gallery first opens. I really don't think that I would do this exhibit again...maybe Madam Taussads wax museum!

Interesting
It’s not a big gallery, and the admission is pretty expensive for what you get, but if the quality is good, it’s worth considering, the collection is impressive but try to go when the gallery first opens, especially on weekends it can become crowded, although I think they only allow so many in at a time.
