Summary
Features: Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition explores the short journey from the "practically unsinkable" ship's construction to it's tragic demise over two miles below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean. The 25,000 sq. ft. attraction features more than 300 artifacts collected from the wreckage and presented for the public at this moving, educational exhibit.
Why We Go: With an unparalleled collection of salvaged artifacts and stunning recreations, the Luxor's Titanic attraction is truly unforgettable. Explore recreations of state rooms, touch a real iceberg as you feel the Artic breeze on your face, and climb a stunning recreation of the famous Grand Staircase.
- Boarding Passes: At the beginning of the exhibit, visitors receive a boarding pass with the information of a real passenger who was aboard the ship. Follow their story until the end of the tour when you'll discover if your passenger survived or perished on the Titanic.
- The Big Piece: This 15-ton, 26ft. long chunk of the Titanic's hull is fondly referred to as The Big Piece and is the largest artifact ever recovered from the wreckage.
Inside Knowledge: Titanic: The Artifact Exhibit was originally housed in the Tropicana and recently moved to the Luxor in 2008. The newly remodeled exhibit features never-before-seen artifacts and recreations.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do Meet the Passengers: The story of the people aboard the ship comes alive with touching tales of loss and survival told through stories and personal effects. Fascinating artifacts include an unopened bottle of champagne with a 1900 vintage, diamond pendants, collections of china and playing cards.
- Don't Take Photos: Photography is prohibited in the exhibit. If you're looking for the perfect souvenir, a professional photographer is on hand to snap your photo on the Grand Staircase.

Titanic
I thought this was going to be a very boring experience...here we 25 years old and instead of partying it up...we're going to the Titanic exhibit. Boy was I wrong....this was really interesting! At the beginning, you are handed a passport with a passenger's name and information on it. At the end of the exhibit, you get to see if your passenger lived or died on the Titanic. Mine lived! I liked how they recreated the rooms on the ship, the promenade and the beautiful staircase. I was shocked to see that some of the papers that had been retrieved from the bottom of the ocean had made it through all these years with out being trashed. The artifacts were neat and I liked the displays. It was very interesting and the history was amazing.

Very educational
Good thing to do in between activities. A good filler to do in the afternoon. Alot of good reproductions of the real thing. And good reconstruction of the things that happened. Good use of using real names of actual people who traveled on the ship.
