Circus Circus Hotel and Casino Summary
Features: The Las Vegas Circus Circus Hotel and Casino is unsurprisingly filled to the brim with family friendly activities -- more per square foot than any other Vegas establishment. The hotel features a huge indoor theme park, Adventuredome, and the world's largest permanent circus act.
After passing through the entrance -- flanked by a 123-foot-tall laughing neon clown -- you'll be in one of the wildest theme casinos in the world. The Circus Circus is also home to some of Vegas' best restaurants, from THE Steakhouse (awarded best steak house in Vegas twenty years running) to Mexitalia X-press and the Garden Grill. Along with nearly 4,000 rooms, the Circus Circus is home to the only RV Park on the Vegas Strip.
Why We Stay: The Circus Circus Vegas provides a place for vacationers to romp through a three-ring funhouse of Vegas excess, and whether with the family or running solo, there is no end to the child-like fun for adults and kids. We wouldn't go anywhere else to feel perpetually young.
- Adventuredome: The five-acre indoor theme park has roller coasters, a water park, a slingshot ride and a carousel. It's the largest indoor theme park, and in the summer it's open until midnight.
- The Midway Stage: Featuring some of the world's best trapeze artists, high-wire acts and aerialists, the free show at the Midway Stage is one of the oldest shows in Vegas and plays every hour starting at noon.
- The RV Park: Remember those family trips in the motor-home? If you do, then Circus Circus is for you. The only RV Park on the Strip is like a family campground in the middle of the world's best amusement park.
Inside Knowledge: If you need a respite from the chaos of family friendly fun and circus side-show madness, look no further than Sunday Brunch at THE Steakhouse. It's a pretty popular event and fills up quick, but you can make reservations. If you show up at 9 a.m. you'll likely find a seat without reservations, but swing by over the weekend and put your name on the list, never hurts to be prepared.
Do's and Don'ts: There are so many things that can go wrong at a circus, but at Circus Circus, we only have a few tips to help make your trip run a little more smoothly.
- Do Let the kids run wild: Let the kids cut loose -- the Circus Circus provides the most innocent fun to be had in Las Vegas.
- Do Hit the arcade: While the New York New York Hotel has the largest Arcade on the Strip, we would argue that Circus Circus has the best. Video games have come a long way, but you'll find the classics at Circus Circus.
- Don't Do drugs: The crazy, elaborate and stunning visual displays might seem like a great way to trip out, but watch Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas to see how that will turn out for you. Plus the hotel is full of kids.
- Don't Expect Luxury: Too many hotel reviews lament the crowds, the noise and the room facilities. This is one of the cheapest Strip hotels, and its theme demands activity, crowds and noise. Plus, it has some of the friendliest and most attentive staff of any hotel in Vegas. Stay because it's the Circus Circus -- not despite it -- and you'll have fun.

For the kids
For the kidsOur room was in the tower and was very nice. The circus acts and midway are fun. There are many families with children so if you're looking for adults only this is not the place to stay or be. The breakfast buffet was really good, lots of variety. The property is older but for the price is great!

Not bad too bad
Not bad too badOk, so this place isn't the Bellagio but for the price and the things to do ,it wasn't a bad deal. They have free circus shows about every hour. There is a little walking distance to the Strip, but hey..walking isn't such a bad thing. The room wasn't that bad, but not great either. The buffet is a great deal for the strip, $13, and you can get your own drinks. The pool is probably the only down fall to the Hotel. The Adventuredome theme park, for $20 for all the rides, is worth it, and friendly to all ages of kids.

Circus Circus
This hotel is a great deal. It is cheap and fun. We didn't have any kids with us, but we still enjoyed the games and the midway. We ate at the buffet (which was ok for the price) and the Mexican/Italian place. I did not enjoy my fish tacos, but my boyfriend thought his food was great. This was the best place to get a cheap drink. Everyday they had a drink special and a beer special. We stopped there on our way out everyday. We thought our room was comparable to any other standard hotel, no luxuries, but absolutely fine. We had a blast here and thought it was an awesome value!

Good price, nice stay
The rooms are very clean and well laid out with flat screen TV's, the quality of service is above par and the circus area had so much going on in it, McDonald's is located right inside and if that doesn't strike your fancy you can go to the restaurant and enjoy the buffet. Great hotel and casino.

Dirty little secret
Dirty little secretI'm not sure what casino and hotel the other reviews were rating, but... this place is dirty. Stains on the comforter, dirty sheets, smelly room in "non-smoking." Casino is a joke. Only good part is the acrobatics upstairs next to the McDonald's.

Circus Circus Hotel and Casino Las Vegas a Budget Family Hotel
Circus Circus is a family friendly hotel that is located right on the Las Vegas Strip. I remember as a child staying here on my first visit ever to Vegas, I thought the place was so cool and so much fun with rides, circus, arcades, etc. So I decided to take my children here- well, I've changed my mind about Circus Circus, it was good as a child but then again my kids had a blast. The room was comfortable enough to spend a short time there. If you are on a budget and want your kids to have fun, I do recommend this place.

Re: Circus Circus Hotel and Casino
We knew this was a "middle of the road" hotel and very family friendly. We did not stay in the room much but it was comfortable for the four of us.
This hotel is nothing spectaculor or luxurious but the room was clean, the bathroom was clean, and when we called maintenance to fix the leaky tub, someone arrived in less than 5 minutes to take care of it.
No complaints regarding this hotel from us. Good choice for budget travelers especially with kids!

Circus Circus Hotel and Casino
Our hotel room was extremely clean. The only gripe we had was the location of the heating vent. the heat or cool air blew right over your head. It took a while for the entire room to heat up.
As far as the hotel buffet goes.. it left a lot to be desired. Outside of breakfast, the food was pretty bad. All in all, the hotel was sufficient for a quick and inexpensive family get-away. I don't recommend this hotel for anyone that is expecting anything more than a basic clean place to lay your head at night.
