Clubs In Las Vegas
The nightlife in Vegas has become one of the main attractions of Sin City over the past couple of decades, especially as the concentration of high-quality nightlife venues on the Strip has increased, and become an experience that can only be found in Las Vegas.
Plan Accordingly
A lot of the hype around Vegas nightlife is created by the “Mega Clubs,” like XS, Tao, and Pure — these are huge properties with multiple levels, rooms, and bars — that host huge parties. However, if you’re not into penetrating beats and sweaty bodies, fear not, because the Strip is also host to plenty of lounges, like Eyecandy and Tabu, as well as a plethora of great bars, like I-Bar or The CatHouse. The fate of your night out in Vegas depends on your taste, and what kind of venue you choose.
The Hottest Las Vegas Clubs
With the new development that is constantly taking place in Las Vegas, a nightlife venue can fall into or out of the graces of club-goers pretty quickly. So, it’s hard to make a static list of the most popular Vegas nightclubs, but the list below features some perennial favorites, and is a good start in knowing where to go.
Moon at the Palms Resort: The Palms has become synonymous with Vegas nightlife, offering, not one, but four different venues for people to party down. Moon is the marquee club at the Palms, and is above others, not only in status, but in location. At the top of the Palms Fantasy Tower, Moon features stunning views, a saturation of chic decor, and a retractable roof that opens up over the dance floor, and leaves clubbers staring at the night sky.
- Inside Knowledge: Moon is located directly above the renowned ,Playboy Lounge, and the entrance fee to Moon will give you access to both. Or, if you want to check out all the Palms’ nightlife, buy a pass that will also give you access to Ghostbar and Rain.
Tryst at the Wynn: As a relative newcomer to the Vegas nightlife scene, Tryst has catapulted itself to the forefront of club-goers “must do” lists. The nightclub is set-up in typical Wynn luxury, which means an upscale setting with unparallelled service. Celebrities and famous DJ’s fill out Tryst’s roster night after night, as everyone marvels at the 90 foot waterfall that is the centerpiece of the club.
- Inside Knowledge: If ever you are going to splurge on VIP service, Tryst is the club where you should do it. Bottle service can get you a table next to the lagoon, and also have you rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous. Also, Blush at the Wynn is a great location to warm-up for a night at Tryst.
Lounging Around
It takes a lot of energy and fortitude to endure an all-nighter at a Vegas club, and though the experience is worth it, sometimes it’s nice to go out, but not have to worry about waiting in line, being grinded on, or having sore feet the next day.
These Vegas venues will tap you into the less frenetic side of Vegas nightlife:
Mix Lounge at THEHotel at Mandalay Bay: High atop THEHotel at Mandalay Bay, Mix Lounge is adjacent to Mix the restaurant, and a visit to both makes for one of the most perfect nights out in Las Vegas. Mix Lounge is the perfect after dinner location, with plenty of places available to relax and enjoy the intricate decor of the lounge, and the spectacular views outside of the windows.
- Inside Knowledge: Make sure you go to the bathroom at Mix, we know this sounds strange, but you won’t believe the view that you find inside of the stalls there, trust us.
Coyote Ugly at the New York New York: The raucous environment at Coyote Ugly is perpetuated by the beautiful bartenders, who not only pour drinks, but get up on the bar to dance, sing, and goad patrons into buying shots. Coyote Ugly is like a neighborhood bar on steroids, packed with people who want to experience some of the bar’s Southern hospitality for themselves.
- Inside Knowledge: Look out for the bras that hang from the ceiling at Coyote Ugly, they are souvenirs from female patrons who have decided (probably after a few drinks) to take them off and leave them with the bar in the past.
Make It Your Own
Ultimately, the perfect nightlife experience in Vegas is going to be different for everyone. Whether that means going to a huge club, a small bar, or both, be sure to let loose, and allow yourself to enjoy the “Only in Vegas” party that goes on every night!
