Summary
Features: The CatHouse can be found just off the casino floor at the Luxor, and it serves many purposes: a restaurant, a bar and lounge area, and as the night wears on, a sexy Vegas nightclub.
Why We Go: We like the sexy ambiance that The CatHouse exudes, which includes the bordello-inspired decor, and the sensual burlesque dancers who perform on the stages throughout the venue.
- In Need of a Theme: The fact that The CatHouse has many different themed nights throughout the week make it easy to decide when we'll be visiting, the themes include a house music night and a locals night.
- Late, Late Night: On Wednesday nights The CatHouse stays open until 6am, and we love that there is a place that stays open until the sun rises.
Inside Knowledge: Being a restaurant during the day gives The CatHouse some unique advantages when the venue turns to club. One of the more notable things is that guests can sit at a booth or table without getting bottle service, which is a rare treat at a Vegas club.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do Make a Night of It: The CatHouse is an ideal place to spend the whole night, go in the late evening for dinner, and then stay as the restaurant transforms into a nightclub.
- Don't Underdress: There is a dress code at The CatHouse, and while you don't have to be decked out, don't wear baggy clothes or flip flops, because you won't be let in.

We Looked forward to our meal here, the concept is unique and cool and the chef has a great reputation. While the food was good, the atmosphere and service was not. First, there is nothing "R-rated" about the CatHouse restaurant, not that that is a bad thing but you can see much more flesh at the pool. However, the vibe is very strange and kind of sleazy, and not in a good or sexy way. The manager seems better suited to work at a strip bar. The place just has a dark, uncomfortable feel to it. Most of the patrons seemed like male conventioneers who didn't quite have the guts to go to a strip club so they came to the CatHouse instead. The end result is kind of sad. This place could could be quite good and have potential If they turned the lights up a bit, trained the staff to lighten up, and went for more of a fun, upbeat atmosphere, rather than the dark, drab, sleazy feel, they could have quite a nice concept. I give it 3 stars because of the food.

Great for couples!
It was a great experience. We had reservations for 9pm and didn't have to wait. The decor is awesome and the staff was very friendly. Dinning was very intimate. I would highly recommend the Cathouse for a romantic evening during your weekend getaway!
