Summary
Features: Compared to some of the mega-clubs that are on the Las Vegas Strip, Jet at the Mirage is smaller and more laid-back, which makes it the perfect place to go when you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere with a chic ambiance.
Why We Go: Jet has three different rooms, the main one plays mainstream music, and then two others where DJ's spin house music —we love having options available to fit our mood.
- Warming Up: Jet's size and easy-going vibe, make it the perfect place to start out a night of clubbing—get there before 10pm to avoid long lines.
- Plenty of Poles: Quite a few stripper poles are strategically placed throughout Jet...do we even need to explain why we like this feature?
Inside Knowledge: Due to its small size, the general admission line for Jet can get pretty ridiculous on weekends (we're talking a 1 to 2 hour wait). So, if you aren't on the guest list, or haven't received passes earlier in the day, you'll probably be in for a long wait.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do Visit the All of the Rooms: Even if you're not into the music in the two smaller rooms, they are often less crowded, and the wait for drinks is usually shorter.
- Don't Be Underdressed: Especially if you're a girl and you're trying to avoid waiting in the line to get in, you have a lot better chance of being whisked in by the bouncers if you're dressed up.

JETWe waited in line for about 45 minutes to get into JET. The bouncers were very friendly, but I wished that there had been stuff for us to do while waiting in line..like slot machines woulda been cool...lol.. There was a $35 cover charge. The staff inside the club was just as friendly as the bouncers, but we found out real quick that this place gets so crowded, with little room to move from area to area. The layout is basically a big square. It has 2 private VIP areas other than the Main Dance Floor. Each private room has its own DJ which is nice. The House room plays all tech so if that's what your into and doing bottle service, request that room. To me, it seems that jet is a great place to go if you don't want to deal with the ego trips that are in Vegas.

The club to be at
The wait of about 40 minutes was definitely worth it. The party rocks inside of Jet. The music is great, good stuff that you can dance to. They have 3 music rooms to choose from so you get a choice of what you want to listen to. We are already making plans to go back. Drink prices are high but the music and dancing make it worth it.

Terrible experice
Terrible expericeThis nightclub is terrible. It is overcrowded, lighting is bad, very stuffy and worst of all, the security is extremely abusive. My very passive friend who never fights or causes trouble, is a law school student at usc and raised in a family of police officers was detained and abused physically by their security. They used unwarranted excessive force. We've filed a complaint against them and intend to pursue any and all actions. You may not have an experience with security but if you or your friend ever due, whether unwarranted or not, you will no doubt face the disgusting tactics and hateful persona's that these people have towards their customers. For your sakes, stay away from this place.
