Summary
Features: LAX is the premiere nightclub at the Luxor, and its popularity is attested to by the fact that the club draws famous A-list celebrities and performers to the desert week after week.
Why We Go: In our opinion, it's the unique design of LAX that sets the club apart from others on the Strip. The multi-level club has a DJ in the middle, and an openness that allows sight lines to all corners, even the VIP areas.
- Element of Surprise: One of our favorite things about LAX is their knack for hosting surprise guests and performers, on any given night, you never know who could show up at the club.
- Endless Energy: We love that LAX is always jam packed, because it helps create an incredible energy; like everyone you are partying with is your best friend.
Inside Knowledge: Like we said, LAX will be packed when you're there, if you need some space, bottle service is the way to go. There are plenty of VIP areas close to the action, but that will keep you from being squished between sweaty bodies.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do Visit CatHouse: CatHouse is just off the casino floor and stays open on some nights until 6am. When LAX closes up for the night, head over to CatHouse to keep the party going. There's a different theme for every night of the week, so be prepared for that much at least.
- Don't Go With a Group of Guys: We know this is a pretty steadfast rule for any club in Vegas, but especially at LAX, it's going to be hard to get in if guys don't have any ladies with them.

Check it it at least once...
Check it it at least once...We received passes to LAX. When we got there , it looked like a stock exchange session. The crowd was hovering around the VIP entrance and the bouncers were slowlyletting in who they wanted to, mainly hot women. The music was a combo of hip-hop, techno, and top 40, drinks were as overpriced as the rest of Las Vegas of course, ranging around $14 dollars for a Long Island Ice Tea, even water cost a pretty penny. All in all, I didn't overly enjoy my experience at LAX and probably won't go back unless I have to for some group outing or special occasion. It was too busy, too crowded and too much hassle, with not enough pay off for the average club goer.

This club has a very simple layout, cramped walkways, and very unprofessional people that work there
This club has a very simple layout, cramped walkways, and very unprofessional people that work thereThere are much better clubs in Las Vegas than LAX. The club layout is very simple, boring, and gets old quick. This place is full of narrow walkways and there's really no space for anything. Bouncers bounce you around the place since you can barely stop anywhere to take in the environment. I also tried the VIP service there and they were very unprofessional. I argued with a bouncer for half an hour about how I could go in to the VIP area with my group but only the women were allowed to drink. He then said he doesn't really have to let me in to begin with. After much long, drawn out drama he said to have fun and do whatever we want. Everything put together just easily killed the mood. Both of my visits there were terrible. If you want a good club to go to I highly recommend Tao. Don't even bother with LAX!
