Summary
Features: High-above the Vegas skyline is the open-air dancefloor and nightclub, the Voodoo Lounge. People come to enjoy the great view, music and the specialty drinks that keep the party wild.
Why We Go: The Voodoo Lounge is one of the better-kept secrets on the Las Vegas nightlife circuit, as far as surroundings go, it's as cool as any club you will find, and we love dancing the night away on the Rio's rooftop.
- Easy Access: At Voodoo Lounge you won't find large clumps of people or an insurmountable line at the entrance, and its relative anonymity is a huge attraction for us, we like having a top of the line club experience without having to wait two hours to get in.
- Being on Top: We realize there are a few clubs around Vegas that have great views, but trust us when we say that the views from the Voodoo Lounge are unmatched, and hard to get over.
Inside Knowledge: VIP passes to Voodoo Lounge can get you free admission to the club, and they are often being handed out in the Rio, especially before 10pm, so go early, and look around for your free pass.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do Have a Witch Doctor: The signature drink at the VooDoo Lounge is a behemoth that is the perfectly strong mix of alcohol and mixers, we're not sure what all goes into it, but we know you'll enjoy it.
- Don't Go When It's Windy: It can get pretty chilly when you're 500 feet up and there's a strong wind, we would recommend coming to the Voodoo Lounge when it's calm and clear.

Awesome Views!!!
What a view!! You absolutely have to go to the VooDoo Lounge in the Rio if you are vacationing in Vegas. The rooftop view was breathtaking! The drinks were wonderful - mixed up by bartenders that are like eye candy to begin with, but man the tricks they can do with those bottles!, the music was a great to dance to - a little bit of something for everyone. One downfall is, it gets REALLY crowded, so try to go early - but if it hadn't been so crowded we may have never realized the outside! Beautiful rooftop deck with its own bar, some seating, different music than inside (but still great), and the most wonderful view of Vegas that I have seen! It was awesome and I will definitely be back during my next trip but the next time I will make sure to bring my camera!

Not the best, but not the worst,
The Voo Doo is located in the Rio Hotel & Casino, top notch bartenders, very classy with the outdoor deck which we enjoyed our drinks on and the view is beautiful. It's not for everyone though, some people might think that it's trashy but it did the trick for the night. Ok, it's not the BEST club, but it's not the WORST either.
