Why We Go: This awe-inspiring helicopter tour differs from other tours because it drops you 3,200 ft. below to the canyon floor. Enjoy a full picnic meal and a champagne toast as you marvel at the Colorado River and red canyon walls surrounding you.
- Photo Opportunities: Do not leave your camera in the hotel room whatever you do. The Kodak moments never stop as you soar above Boulder City, Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam and of course, the Grand Canyon.
- Deli Dinner: You'll probably work up an appetite with all the "ooh-ing" and "ahh-ing" going on, and this tour has you covered. A deli-style meal of a sandwich, chips and soda awaits you at the canyon floor.
Inside Knowledge: For each guest weighing more than 275 lbs, an adjacent empty seat is required to safely balance the aircraft. If you fall in this category, you will be required to purchase an adjacent seat at a 50% discount. Also, be warned that all passengers will be weighed before boarding.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do Wear the Right Shoes: The helicopter lands on the banks of the Colorado River on protected Hualapai Indian land and you'll need solid shoes to properly explore the natural wonders at your fingertips.
- Don't Sleep In: Your shuttle picks you up at your hotel 90 minutes before the scheduled departure, so make sure you're ready to fly!
