Vegas for Thrill Seekers

If we were going to choose one word to describe Vegas, it would be 'thrill' - so Las Vegas for thrill seekers is a paradise! Las Vegas thrills are around every corner: feel the rush when you're on a hot streak in the casinos, when your favorite song comes on at the top Vegas clubs, and when performers do death-defying stunts at the best Las Vegas shows. In fact, we would say the luxurious Las Vegas spas are really the only places you are sure to avoid a thrill.

But for those of you adrenaline junkies who need more than the average Vegas thrill, don't despair. Las Vegas is full of the coolest thrill rides and exciting adventures. The Circus Circus Adventuredome is a five-and-a-half-acre indoor Vegas amusement park with some of the most thrilling roller coasters and rides in Vegas. For awesome games and simulations such as race car driving, try GameWorks Las Vegas.

If you are a veteran thrill-seeker and the best Las Vegas roller coasters don't quite get your heart racing anymore, there are some more extreme thrill options in Vegas that you'll love. Drive a race car in a thrilling race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, experience what it feels like to be in space without gravity at Zero-G, and enjoy a classic thrill with Vegas Indoor Skydiving!

Las Vegas Thrill Rides

Some of the most exciting thrills in Las Vegas are Las Vegas thrill rides. Vegas is home to some of the most intense roller coasters, rides and simulation games in the world. Las Vegas thrill seekers will not be disappointed if they try these awesome Las Vegas attractions!

  • Adventuredome at Circus Circus: This indoor amusement park at Circus Circus is full of awesome Las Vegas thrill rides. The Sling Shot launches you 100 ft. into the air at 4 Gs - which is one more G than a rocket launch! The Canyon Blaster is the world's only indoor double loop, double corkscrew roller coaster and it moves at a whopping 55 mph!
  • GameWorks Las Vegas: Right next to the MGM Grand on the Vegas Strip, calling GameWorks an arcade would be a misrepresentation. This place is full of more than 200 state-of-the-art games and simulations. The Initial D Motion Ride gives you the thrill of mountain drift racing without leaving the desert! Try the epic thrills of the MaxFlight 2002 Virtual Roller Coaster, too!
  • Stratosphere Thrill Rides: There are three awesome rides at the top of the Stratosphere Hotel where you are sure to be thrilled by the view as well as the machinery; X Scream, Insanity and the Big Shot. Our favorite would have to be Insanitywhere you dangle above Las Vegas at speeds up to 3 Gs!

Huge Las Vegas Thrills

If you want even bigger thrills than Las Vegas roller coasters and epic simulations, don't go any further than a short drive off the Strip. Las Vegas has some of the coolest adventures for Las Vegas thrill seekers.

  • Pole Position Raceway: If you have ever envied the thrill of driving a race car, this is the place for you. Pole Position Raceway doesn't have kiddie karts for you to drive; they have 18-horsepower and go up to 45 mph on a quarter-mile European style track. Try your skills on hairpin turns, long straightaways and gentle curves.
  • Zero-G Las Vegas: If you are looking for the ultimate unique thrill that you can only find in Vegas, try Zero-G. This attraction allows the public to experience a commercial weightless flight - the same kind that is used to train astronauts! Put on your spiffy flight suit and take off in a Boeing 727-200 plane with padded walls and seats to live out your astronaut fantasy.
  • Vegas Indoor Skydiving: Skydiving is always a classic thrill, and is a favorite with Las Vegas thrill seekers. Different companies have outdoor skydiving, but we love the thrill of indoor skydiving! The weather can't get in the way, there's no worry about your parachute malfunctioning, and Las Vegas thrill seekers of all ages can enjoy this activity!
