Cheap Hotel Vegas

Sahara Las Vegas
Opened in 1952, the Sahara is located in downtown Las Vegas and is one of the few strip hotels still standing that can boast the rich history of the rat pack era. In fact, the original Ocean's Eleven was filmed -in part- at the Sahara, making it a popular and revered old school Las Vegas landmark.
- Rooms at Sahara: The Saraha is a very cheap place to get a room without sacrificing on comfort. Sure, some of the rooms could probably use a few updates, but if decorum is the least of your concerns, the Saraha is a great place for you to hang your hat.
- Dollar Days at Sahara: At the Sahara, you are in the heart of vintage Las Vegas. Called, "the glitter gulch" thanks to all of its old school neon signs, downtown Las Vegas is just steps away from the famous Fremont Experience and the many casinos on Fremont Street. The Saraha Casino itself has been updated in recent years and the gamblin' is good. The Sahara Casino has one of Las Vegas' most popular casino promotions- one dollar minimum blackjack, baby! Dollars Days at the Sahara Casino also include four fantastic offers to sweeten the pot including: one dollar beers, one dollar hot dogs and one dollar shots (in a free souvenir glass).
Circus Circus
Family friendly Circus Circus on the Las Vegas strip was opened with much fanfare in 1968. Its famous midway was featured in the James Bond film, "Diamonds are Forever," and Hunter S. Thompson, author of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, was more than a bit bemused by its crazy carnie theme.
- Camping: Okay, so you won't exactly be pitching a tent at Circus Circus Las Vegas, but it is the only hotel and casino on the Las Vegas strip that features a KOA RV park. You can hook up at the park for minimal fees, and enjoy all that Las Vegas has to offer from the comfort of your very own RV.
- Rooms: Most of the rooms at Circus Circus Las Vegas have been upgraded in recent years. The flat screen televisions and the sleek, modern themed decor seem to juxtapose the old 1970's carpet that still lines some of the hallways. The decor at Circus Circus is all part of its zany charm. The carpet is vintage kitsch, but your room can feel surprisingly upscale. Some of the rooms on the upper floors even feature a circular window that looks like something out of a Star Wars movie, and if you ask the friendly people at the desk for the best view they've got, they can usually oblige.
The Flamingo
The Flamingo hotel and casino in Las Vegas is steeped in a sordid history. The project to turn the Flamingo into a high rolling casino at the heart of a would-be ultimate party town was thanks to the lofty ideas of a few of the most notorious members of organized crime in the late 1940's. Bugsy Seigel, Meyer Lansky, and Lucky Luciano all had vested interest in the success of Las Vegas and the Flamingo hotel.
- Rooms: The Flamingo may be the oldest hotel on the strip still in operation today, but don't let that steer you away from a stay at this Las Vegas classic casino. The Flamingo is in a prime location in the center of the Las Vegas strip and the hotel and casino has had its fair share of upgrades since the day when Joan Crawford and Jimmy Durante were present for its opening.
- Margaritaville: You won't waste away at this margaritaville! Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville inside the Flamingo hotel an casino Las Vegas has great food at reasonable prices. The burgers at Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville Las Vegas are fantastic and the margaritas are killer. If you decide to take advantage of the low priced rooms at the Flamingo, you will definitely want to to eat at Margaritaville. And don't worry, there are salt shakers on the table.

Staying in Las Vegas on a Shoestring Budget
So, you are planning your trip to Las Vegas but you don't exactly have the budget of high roller. In fact, you don't even want to spring for a hotel considered "affordable." You want cheap. You need cheap. You don't care about luxury bedding and a mini bar, and would rather save your pennies to put into the slot machines. Never fear, cheap hotels in Las Vegas don't mean stinky rooms and crusty carpets. There are some great options to choose from in Las Vegas when searching for cheap places to stay, partially because the competition in this once thriving boom town is fierce.
Las Vegas on the Cheap
We can't say enough about what an incredible city Las Vegas is. You can go to Las Vegas with pockets full of cash, eat at the most expensive restaurants, stay at the most expensive hotels, shop til you drop, gamble until you can't gamble anymore, and leave having had one of the best times of your life. You can also go to Las Vegas, spend under $30.00 a night to stay in a perfectly acceptable room, eat all you can at some of the country's biggest and cheapest buffets, win a small fortune at a low bet blackjack table or a particulary loose slot machine and leave having had one of the best times of your life.
You Decide
No matter where you decide to say, or what you plan (and don't plan) to spend in Las Vegas, there is a hotel, a restaurant, a casino, a pool, a bed, a spa, a nightclub, and a whatever else you need to fit your needs, wants, desires and budget. A little research on Early Vegas for promotion codes, discounts, and insider information never hurts either.
