Don't miss it!

Me and my sisters went to see Louie Anderson while we were in Vegas for a vacation and we all LOVED him! he seems to really like his audience and he connected with us. There were parts that hit home for me and I laughed until I cried. The audience in general really enjoyed him. He is a very generous comedian who appreciates his audience. The show was great fun and worth the money. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Louie Anderson in Vegas, don't miss it!

I took my 3 daughters, 17, 18 & 21 to see Louie Anderson and we all LOVED him! The theater is intimate, and he really likes his audience and connects to them. If you are over 50, you will especially enjoy the show. But my girls enjoyed it as well, and laughed loudly most of the way through. There were parts that hit home for me and I laughed until I was crying. The audience in general really enjoyed him. He is a very generous comedian who appreciates his audience. The show is great fun. I recommend it highly.

Venue Hotel

Palace Station Hotel and Casino offers affordable accomodations near the Strip. Ever since its opening in 1976, this hotel has been providing appealing rooms for travelers on a budget. Every room here possesses a great view of either the flashy Vegas skyline or the scenic mountains of the mojave desert. With its close approximation to Chinatown, the Palace Station is the best hotel in Las Vegas for easy access to real authentic Chinese food without the touristy feel.

He is a very good, intelligent comedian whose real skill came out when he interacted with the audience. I found that was his best material was during his improvising.

Summary

Features: The subtitle of Louie Anderson's show is "Larger Than Life," and it reveals immediately Anderson's particular style of self-deprecating humor. The iconic comedian has made a career out of being able to make fun of himself and his family, and this show is par for the course.

Why We Go: Anderson has built himself into a timeless comedian, and anytime we can see someone who's routine has transcended generations, we like to jump on the opportunity.

  • The Family Man: One of the best things about Anderson's comedy are his jokes about growing up in a family of 12, and his observations about his parents.
  • Improvisation: Anderson has a lot of interaction with the audience throughout the show, these interactions often turn into hilarious comedy.

Inside Knowledge: Louie Anderson is one of the few performers who comes out before the show to greet the audience coming in. You can meet the man and shake his hand, but be aware that you'll probably have to pay for the picture you take with him after the show is over.

Do's and Don'ts:

  • Do Look for Discount Tickets: There is a fairly common two-for-one deal for Louie Anderson tickets that can often be found at the ticket booths around Las Vegas.
  • Don't Come If You're Young: Much of Anderson's comedy revolves around age and aging, it is much better suited for the older set.
