Features: The pool at the Golden Nugget has been dubbed "The Tank," due to the large aquarium that is built into the center of the pool. In addition to The Tank, The Hideout is a more secluded pool that caters to those over the age of 16.
Why We Go: The Golden Nugget Pool is one of those places that will have you shaking your head and saying, "Only in Vegas." Because we'll bet that there are few, if any, other places that offer pool-goers a chance to swim-up to and slide through an aquarium filled with sharks.
- The Tank: The aquarium in the middle of the pool that holds the sharks allows swimmers to get as close as they want to the glass, and has a glass waterslide that goes right through the middle of the predatory habitat—in a word...awesome!
- Upscale Downtown: The pool at the Golden Nugget will make you feel like you are at any of the best hotels on the Strip, with chairs in the water, a posh layout, and the opportunity for VIP service.
Inside Knowledge: The Hideout is an infinity pool on the third-floor of the Golden Nugget. It is a more classy and adult environment (you have to be at least 16 to get in), and it is open later than The Tank.

Golden Nugget Pool
We stayed at the Golden Nugget this past August. We are the type of people that go to a hotel for their pool, we are sun worshipers, well we were not dissapointed. They have a great pool with a jacuzzi , a water slide and a large shark tank with sharks and fish swimming in the middle of the pool! Plenty of lounge chairs and seating areas with couches - chairs were plentiful until around 10am or so and then they got few and far between.
