A Tropical Paradise at the Mirage Resort
Customer Testimonial
"Its definitely like an oasis; lushes greens surrounding waterfalls.. Amazing, it feels as though I'm vacationing on a desolated island."

Summary
Features: The Mirage Pool lives up to what you might expect from the Vegas property that has an erupting volcano out front—the verdant and tropically-landscaped pool grounds offer guests a vacation in itself.
Why We Go: Palm trees, waterfalls, and yes, we're still talking about the Vegas Strip here. The Mirage Pool is the perfect place to relax, whether it be under the shade of a palm tree, or under the hot Vegas sun, we come here to unwind.
- Welcoming Vibe: Many of the pools in Vegas can be intimidating and necessitate designer bathing suits and perfectly sculpted bodies; however, the pool at the Mirage is less pretentious, more relaxed, and welcomes all types of people.
- Founts of Relaxation: The multiple waterfalls at the Mirage Pool aren't just for show, you can swim into, under, and around them, find the right spot under a waterfall for a free water massage!
Inside Knowledge: Drinks that are served at the pool are fairly pricey, avoid the extra cost by bringing in your own drinks, just make sure that you don't bring in any glass bottles.

Bare at the Mirage Pool
Bare Info
Why We Party: Aptly titled, Bare is the name of the topless, European-Style pool at the Mirage. This pool party has a much more exclusive and relaxed feel than most of the other pool parties in Las Vegas, which is why we love it.
- VIP Section: The Bare Pool is two-tiered, and on the top tier is a VIP are that overlooks the whole scene, and that has its own infinity pool!
- Rage or Relax: A DJ spins music poolside, and comfortable chairs await the serious sunners, whether you are in the mood for a raging party, or a bit of secluded relaxation, you can have it at Bare.

Was there a cover charge?
Crowded
The pool is huge and very well maintained, but people started racing to get into the pool around 7.30 am (it opened at 8.00 am) and there was always a rush for the best "spot". You HAD to reserve your lounger (which you can hold for one hour only before returning to it) at 8.00am or you didn't have a hope of getting one later in the day! The loungers were in very regimented rows and you could not move them!!! The mirage pool was nice but very crowded and on a hot day, that is the last thing that you want to deal with.

One of the best on the strip
The Mirage pool may be the best on the strip. I've tried Mandalay and Bellagio. Mandalay is great, but crazy-crowded. Bellagio is nice but almost too reserved. Yes, you do need to grab chairs early (I went down at 7AM both days) but even if you don't, the people who are there at 8AM usually bail by noon so chairs are always opening up. The pool drinks from the Dolphin Bar are good, and waitresses are pretty prompt, but just as easy to go to the bar yourself
