Amazing

This was an amazing show. This show is a good choice for a family that is visiting Vegas and wants to spend time together for an afternoon. The animal tricks are great and and you really wonder how they can do the amazing tricks that they perform. it's really heartwarming to see how a man's undying love for animals has brought him to where he is today!

Who knew that a cat could ride a bicycle? Can someone please teach my pets how to do these amazing tricks?! This show is so much fun, and a great one to bring the whole family to!

Summary

Features: The stars of Gregory Popovich's Comedy Pet Theater are his more than 30 cats, dogs and even mice. Popovich, his family and their troupe of circus worthy pet-performers are sure to warm hearts at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino.

Why We Go: Seeing a house cat perform tricks is pretty spectacular. Even the show opener, Popovich's spectacular non-clown juggling act, is a sight to see. But we go for the dog herding mice onto a toy train, the cat crossing the handlebars and of course, the thieving mutt.

  • Getting Catty: Popovich trains each animal by finding their "hidden talent," a particular feat for the cats. We can't even get ours to get off the top of the fridge.
  • Not Just a Hound Dog: We're pet lovers, and the fact that every animal in the show is rescued, gives us even more incentive to check out the show.

Inside Knowledge: Before landing his show at the V Theater in the Planet Hollywood, Popovich and his furry (and feathered) friends put on a pets only show at the Circus Circus. Back then, the show was free for everyone. Today, tickets for kids 12 and under are less than $10 -- only kids under two don't pay admission.

Do's and Don'ts:

  • Do Grab a Seat Up Front: The seating area is flat, so if you have young kids, you'll either want to be up close, or in the back where you can lift them on you shoulders.
  • Don't Worry About the Animals: All the animals are trained with a strict regimen of positive reinforcement. Think pampered Hollywood stars, not notorious circus animal cruelty.
