Rainforest Cafe is a Jungle Dining Experience for Families
Customer Testimonial
"
The atmosphere is fun for all ages. The foods is fantastic, Rasta Pasta is a must. Best Pasta dish EVER had at a restaurant and I am an Italian cook that makes my own pasta from scratch!

Summary
Features: The Rainforest Cafe is part restaurant and part jungle adventure. Besides boasting a popular menu of jungle-themed entrees and desserts, families love the lush environment sprinkled with sporadic thunderstorms.
Why We Dine: In addition to being one of the most popular kid-friendly spots on the Strip, parents will love the sophisticated menu options and cocktails.
- Sparkling Volcano: A massive mountain of brownies, caramel, chocolate syrup, and ice cream--and topped with a sparkler. It's enough to put your entire family in a food coma.
- Thunderstorms: About every half-hour, a 'tropical thunderstorm' sweeps the restaurant to the delight of kids and adults alike.
Inside Knowledge: There's a Rainforest Cafe gift shop attached to the restaurant offering a huge selection of rainforest-themed toys, t-shirts, and stuffed animals.
We Recommend:
- Jungle Safari Soup: A flavorful take on classic vegetable soup, their version is bursting with zucchini, tomatoes, sausage, garbanzo beans, kidney beans and spinach lightly stewed in a zesty broth.
- Maya's Combo: If choosing just one entree item is proving too difficult this combination of spare ribs, Caribbean coconut shrimp and Tuscan chicken is for you. It comes served with a heaping portion of their Jungle Fries.

I am not here for the atmosphere but wanted a good Breakfast
My husband and I where vacationing in Las Vegas and had been to a Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disneyland. So we decided to try the one in the MGM LAs Vegas for breakfast. The only thing going for this cafe was the Ambience. The service was horrible the food cold and tasted horrible. Will not recommend this to anyone!

Rainforest Cafe Las Vegas
Rainforest Cafe at the MGM in Vegas recreates a tropical rainforest with waterfalls, indigenous creatures, etc. Besides a family-style restaurant, it is an entertaining place for everyone especially children. My kids seemed to be very amused with the whole environment since it was our first time here. There are many different dishes from the menu to choose from for those young picky eaters like mine. The food was average and the service was not bad. Compare to other Vegas restaurants, it's one of the inexpensive and casual one so can't complain. Overall, we had a fun time.

Re: Rainforest Cafe
Honestly, don't come here expecting world-class food or highbrow society. It's for families and it;s fun! We were seated near the silver-back gorilla that would growl and beat it's chest. I feel bad for the couple that seated immediately beneath it as I am sure they were annoyed. the place darkens and turns into a monsoon several times during the meal and a booklet explaining the different animals found in the rainforest make things a bit more educational. The food is decent if not a bit steep for what it is but just imagine the overhead at a place like that.

Re: Rainforest Cafe
Rain Forest Cafe thought of every last detail! When we walked in the door, we were seated at a table with animals covering it. All around were vines, trees, monkeys, elephants, birds, butterflies, lions and much, much more! The atmosphere is fun for all ages. The food was fantastic. This was our first time at Rain Forest Cafe and we were so happy to learn that there is a restaurant not far from our home. Our kids are too old but for younger children, this would be the perfect place to throw a birthday party.
Do not go expecting a nice, quiet dinner. They have a mock lightning storm every half hour which is quite an uproar.
