We waited in line for about 45 minutes to get into JET. The bouncers were very friendly, but I wished that there had been stuff for us to do while waiting in line..like slot machines woulda been cool…lol.. There was a $35 cover charge. The staff inside the club was just as friendly as the bouncers, but we found out real quick that this place gets so crowded, with little room to move from area to area. The layout is basically a big square. It has 2 private VIP areas other than the Main Dance Floor. Each private room has its own DJ which is nice. The House room plays all tech so if that’s what your into and doing bottle service, request that room. To me, it seems that jet is a great place to go if you don’t want to deal with the ego trips that are in Vegas.
The wait of about 40 minutes was definitely worth it. The party rocks inside of Jet. The music is great, good stuff that you can dance to. They have 3 music rooms to choose from so you get a choice of what you want to listen to. We are already making plans to go back. Drink prices are high but the music and dancing make it worth it.
This nightclub is terrible. It is overcrowded, lighting is bad, very stuffy and worst of all, the security is extremely abusive. My very passive friend who never fights or causes trouble, is a law school student at usc and raised in a family of police officers was detained and abused physically by their security. They used unwarranted excessive force. We’ve filed a complaint against them and intend to pursue any and all actions. You may not have an experience with security but if you or your friend ever due, whether unwarranted or not, you will no doubt face the disgusting tactics and hateful persona’s that these people have towards their customers. For your sakes, stay away from this place.
