Stayed at the Alexis Park Resort from May 7-11. It is rated as 3 stars and that would be about right. My room was very large but the furniture & decorations were at least 15 years past their prime. The size of the room was disproportionate to the amount of furniture and the TV, there was multiple security day and night and housekeeping did a fairly good job although a bit late on a couple of days. The bar in the hotel was quite nice with a projection screen and nice decor. I did not try the restaurant in the hotel but the prices seemed fairly reasonable. The 3 pools were very nice (incl towel service) but only one is heated so they would be cold on fringe seasons. Overall, The Alexis Park Hotel would be OK for families or budget.

"Nice Hotel outside the Strip"
We stayed here for 2 nights, the Hotel room was great, large, airy, light rooms with nice bathrooms. Resort has 3 swimming pools - we were glad because it was so hot in Vegas when we were there, mid July. A little far from the strip but easily walkable and the taxi back was around 12 dollars. The only complaint would be the airplanes over top at times, the resort is kinda close to the airport.
