Bally’s Reviews
One of the mainstays on the Vegas Strip, Bally's has been simply offering nice rooms, and a good casino to its guests for years. Its location in the middle of the Strip makes it an ideal, and centrally-located place to stay.

Horrible.
I would not stay at this hotel ever again, and can only tell you to think twice before booking with any Harrah's property-
My outdated room with worn out stained carpet also had a very large ugly visible stain on the ceiling in the bathroom. On the last night when I was getting ready for dinner out with friends - while sitting on the 'throne', brown water dripped down on my head and back. I looked up to see the ceiling was bulging like a balloon of water. The brown water was most likely sewage from an overflowing toilet in the room above us. I called the hotel operator who sent a plumber. The plumber said he had to move us to another room. This would have made us late for our dinner reservations with friends so I said we'd have to deal with moving us when we got back from dinner. A few hours later, we came back from dinner and I went immediately to front desk. The plumber had not notified the desk of bathroom disaster. Front desk clerk did not care about the sewage, nor the mess, nor the hassle that their hotel's negligence in maintaining their property caused us. The hotel manager would only offer us a $25 voucher for dinner, which was pointless - We had already eaten and It was close to 10pm, on our last night, we had to check out by 4am that morning to catch flight. When the bellhop moved us to a new room I told him to tell the rude front desk clerk how bad the bathroom was, the clerk said it was "no big deal". Just unbelievable rude uncaring staff. I'm left with an overwhelming dislike for this disaster of an accommodation. If your reading this - and are thinking about staying here don't! By the way - what kind of stupid hotel closes their pool at 7pm?

ok for the price
The room was spacious, and comfortable, although for a nice hotel, should have been cleaner. There was dust, and spots here and there. The pool is fantastic, but you have to walk through the casino, and by various shops to get to it. The location is great. Right on the strip by several attractions.

Awesome Location
Awesome Location If your looking for a hotel that is in the heart of the strip and isn't flashy but just a place to sleep this is your place. The tables are pretty cold so gamble elsewhere, don't eat at the restaurants unless you want to wait a good half hour for someone to seat you (even if its almost empty). The Sportsbook is very nice along with the pool. And you cannot beat the fact that your connected to Paris. Would stay here again, pretty cheap for the location and if your just gonna use it to sleep a few hours you can't beat the price.

Bally's Hotel
Overall, Ballys Hotel in Las Vegas is good, in the middle of the Strip. Not bad odds on the slots either! We checked in late as a group of 4 and had requested 2 non-smoking rooms that were next to each other. Instead, we were placed in smoking rooms on different floors. The next day we were promised rooms next to each other that were non-smoking and when we went to the front desk, they had no knowledge of this request. UGH! After speaking with the front desk manager, we were upgraded to the North Tower for free and were given great rooms across the hall from each other.
Tips: South Tower has big rooms with small refrigerators in them. The sleeping rooms and bathrooms are rather spacious but a bit dingy.
North Tower has rooms that are much nicer but a bit smaller and did not have refrigerators or coffee pots in the rooms.

Perfect location
I was upgraded to the North Tower because I have a Harrah's Total Rewards Card. I'm fairly loyal to their casinos because they have the best comps. Have stayed in several hotels on the strip over time. For the mid-price range, I was very happy with this one. Very convenient to get to other places in Vegas. Easy walk over to Caesars Palace and the Forum Shops and you can even go in the Paris Hotel without even having to go outdoors. Service was friendly. Valet parking was quick and painless. The hotel restaurants are basic but there are unlimited restaurants to chose from in the area.

Bally's is a great place for the price
We paid an average of $78 a night for a 4 night stay...smoking deal! The room had 2 queen size beds and a satisfactory work station. The location is right in the center of town, on the strip, and could not be better.
NO, its one of the nicest hotels on the strip, but, who cares, I didn't come to vegas to stay in our room!
A few great perks to staying at Bally's:
~Next to Bellagio with the free water show-beautiful at sunset.
~Next to Treasure Island with the free pirate show-pretty cool.
~Connected walkway to Paris hotel-lots of shopping.
~Connected to the Monorail that takes you all around the main strip in vegas.
