Situated on East Fremont street, it is near the ten most well-known hotel casinos. This hotel is home to the world’s largest gold nugget, and this attraction is free for anyone that wishes to see it.
This was my first time staying at The Orleans. I’ve stayed at several other hotels on the strip but decided to change the pace. We stayed here because my sister has 2 kids and she wanted to bring them along, she researched it and it was a bonus! There was so much for the kids to do with an arcade, theater, bowling alley, kids Tyme, and a pool, it was an easy drive to the strip, great staff, comfy beds and spacious rooms….A must stay!!

"Okay Hotel"
We stayed at the Orleans to avoid the mess of the Strip, but the time it took us to drive to the strip, made us decide that the Strip is better because you can get to anywhere. The self parking at the Orleans was great, free and close to the door and I am sure we saved some money that way, but overall the hotel was just okay. The one thing that really stood out was the Spa. It had a whole different look than the rest of the hotel, which was on the tacky side. It is beautiful! The exercise room looks out at the pool area, there are urns with chilled bottled water everywhere, music playing, and the free locker has slippers, etc. for you to use. I guess I am writing alot about the spa because it was the one highlight of the hotel. The buffet was a good value compared to other buffets, but had a run down, nothing special atmosphere. The beds are just a 4″ piece of foam over the box spring. Not a real mattress. I was okay with it but like a real mattress much better. We did call one night to housekeeping for extra pillows and they never came. Then I left a note for the maid for extra pillows the next day and still nothing. The money you save staying here isn’t worth the aggravation to get to the Strip each day/night. I will stay on the Strip next time.

"Not bad for the price"
This hotel in our opinion was good. The rooms were nice, good sized, bathrooms were a decent size to for hotel standards. Everyone from the dealers, to waiters, to desk clerks were very friendly. The only negative I could say is that the two restaurants we tried were not the best, but o.k. Loved the 99 cent margarita’s at the Mexican restaurant. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting something off the strip but with easy access to and from.
