Siren show sucked
Siren show suckedTreasure Isalnd was a very nice hotel. The inside was beautiful, the buffet was quite good. And the rooms were even nice. But the one thing that really made me wonder was Sirens of TI show. It had to be the worst show I have ever seen in my life. I remember people leaving 10 minutes into the show cause it was so bad. Pretty raunchy show with the worst acting I have ever seen. Glad my kids didn't go there to see it. It dropped my rating way down.

Good but not too impressive
Good but not too impressiveI just returned from a 5 day vacation at TI. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. After touring the Mirage and the Venetian I don't think I could ever be satisfied with TI for any future vacations. There were long lines to all the restaurants only to find the food very average and overpriced. I got a great internet rate for the room so I felt I got a pretty good value for such a centrally located 4 star hotel. Boy were their slots tight! None of us could win anything!

best location
We travel 3 times a year to Vegas 2 hr flight to fun in the sun. Love the location of the TI I, mean the shopping is at your doorstep. the beds are some of the best on the strip and I dont find it too smoky there. The Wynn across the strip. And all the big shows all around you....Great location. The show outside just too crowded for my comfort though. But if you stay at hotel you can watch the show from bar and restaurant alsofrom other locations in the hotel. Make res. soon as you arrive for one night was great!!!!!! Van. Canada

Another good stay at T I
What can I say....this hotel is pretty nice for the money and for all the excitement in and around it, the restaurants are all good, the rooms are clean, a little dated but all in all nice. At T I you get what you pay for, and that means you get a nice hotel room, good service, good food and just in general, a nice place to stay. The shows were good too, Mystere was an awesome show and so was the Cirque de Soleil show, we hit in the casino for a nice amount too. I would go back to T I, hands down.

The suites are nice but showing serous age problems
The suites are nice but showing serous age problemsTreasure Island or TI as it calls itself now has made an attempt to move away from a family theme to a sexy theme. The result is a bit convoluted. The worst is the Sirens of TI show that replaced the excellent pirate battle show. It is supposed to be sexy but it ends up just being stupid, and childishly silly. The so called Sirens remind me of a high school senior class production. While it is a good idea to get away from attracting too many children to this over crowded area, they should go back to the original pirate battle and scrap this nonsense. With lines like,"Ahoy!" "Who you calling a 'Hoy'." it can only make one cringe. Perhaps if they want a sexy routine they should find someone to create one who has graduated high school. One great part of TI is an ecclectic and fun casual restaurant called Kahunaville. It is directly accross from the Cirque du Soleil show Mystere. It has a tropical theme, interesting visual features such as dancing waters, friendly service and delicious dishes. The best part is it will not break your budget. At night it becomes a Club with "Flare" bartenders (that flip and juggle the bottles) and a dancing wait staff. All in all it is a lot of fun and you cannot beat the price. You can find dinner and show packages for Kahunnaville and Mystere.
