Pros:
Go at your own pace
Cons:

At Mandalay bay they have a fairly new exhibit, it's the Shark Reef and it is an awesome site to see. You walk at your own pace through the temple and a glass tunnel where you can actually watch the sharks swimming over top of you, they have a touch tank where you can "pet" small sharks, stingrays and starfish and the jellyfish tank is simply mesmerizing. If you walk at a nice slow pace it should take you about 30 minutes to complete the walk through, definitely worth the time, but don't expect a show, that's not what this exhibit is about, it's all about taking as long as you like to watch the wonderful wonders of the sea.
