3 pools are available to its guests along with sophisticated custom interiors, waterfalls cabanas, bungalows equipped with their own pools, double sided fireplaces and a bedroom.
The Palms is located off of the Strip so we booked a trip here to get away from it all when we wanted to. Nice hotel and the stay was nice too, The pool scene was nice, 3 pools in all with waterfalls, the service was great, when we were low on drinks they seemed to be right there asking if we wanted more and being able to gamble (they have blackjack tables poolside) while my wife laid in the sun was a perk for me. Food was pretty good also. It was nice and not too crowded when we went, it was hot! My wife is a sun worshiper so this was the ultimate experience for her. We would definitely go back for the pool scene alone, my wife will make sure of it.

"not what was expected"
It’s smaller than some of the mega resorts, but I didn’t see many people struggling to find space. I would guess that there’s more pool space per capita than at the Venetian or Mandalay.
