    "disappointing"

I had never seen any Cirque du Soleil shows before and I was pretty disappointed. One of my friends who saw it with me said there were only two or three things that were typical of Cirque shows. The stage was definitely unique and inventive- it could rotate around and became vertical at two different points during the show, but the story was slow and confusing. It didn’t wow me like I had expected it to. There are a few martial arts scenes that just go on for too long and get to be boring. The two people next to me fell asleep and I was having to fight to keep my eyes open towards the end too. We got our tickets for free as part of a package so we were in the second to last row, so I am really glad we didn’t pay for those tickets. The stage was cool and the set came out into the audience, which was also cool, but it was not as entertaining or spectacular as I was hoping.

    "Over Rated in my opinion"

I read all the great reviews of this modern circus show and then planned to attended it. I was not really enthused. However, the show is fantastically artistic, the staff is very talented, stage was super cool…BUT…the story-line is almost impossible to follow and found I myself very bored with the show once I couldn’t follow it.

    "Standing ovations all round"

On my Wife’s birthday we had the pleasure of seeing KA by Cirque De Soleil. This was our first experience of any Cirque show and we were blown away, as were most of the crowd. I had managed to get category two seats for $50 each through the Ticketmaster promotion and we were so close to the stage you could almost touch it. Excellent seats. The show itself was amazing and all I can say is that if people rate KA as the worst CDS show in Vegas then the others must be phenomenal. Well worth going to see, I would have been happy paying full price.

As for the previous reviewer stating people walked out, well in our showing people stood up and clapped for at least 5 minutes after the show ended. Everybody I spoke to on the way out only had positive things to say about the show.

Different people, different opinions, it is always going to happen but don’t let a bad review put you off seeing KA at least once in your lifetime

"Absolutly Jaw Dropping! best anything I have seen"

This show totally exceeded all my expectations. From the moment you walk in the door the ticket checkers are already in character. Then you arrive in a full service bar/lounge area where you can purchase drinks. Which is not a bad idea seeing that the show is 1.5 hours long. On your way to your seat you are greeted by friendly characters that entertain you to your seats. As you arrive to your seats you are engrossed in a 360 degree entertainment arena. About 20 minutes before the show starts performers are using the ceilings and wall structures as performance platforms as well as soaring above the seating area. Even the simple task of telling you to turn off phone and put area your camera is incorporated into the experience.

As far as the show goes it is 1.5 hours of pure entertainment. Cirque du Soleil really knows how to put on a show. The stage/s are 360 degree platforms that house incredible acts of gymnastics, dance, music and story telling. Without giving away anything that happens all I will say is they really pay attention to detail on a grand scale. At times you don’t know where to look there is so much excitement going on.

This was by far my most memorable part of Las Vegas. Also it was the best bang for the buck . I would recommend this to anyone and everyone that is staying anywhere near the MGM Grand. It is family friendly as well so it is safe to take your little ones. You will not soon forget the KA experience

"From the time you first enter the exoticly decorated theater you become part of the experience"

Unlike other Cirque type shows that seem to be a bit androgenously confusing this show is more specific. It follows an easy to understand storyline and features amazing acrobatic skills and breathtaking use of height and three dimentional space. You have to see it to believe it. Can you imagine a martial arts battle that occurrs entirely on a vertical plane?

This is a great show for any age and does not require any understanding of language. This makes it a great choice if you are entertaining visitors from foreign lands. No translating necessary.
