Royal Resort Summary
Features: The Royal Resort is located just off of the Las Vegas Strip and a short walk away from the Vegas Convention Center. It's this location that attracts tourists looking for a hotel that is near the action and has affordable room prices.
Why We Stay: We like to stay at the Royal Resort because they have some of the lowest room prices for the area they are in, which is nice when we want to save some money, but also participate in all that's going on at the Convention Center and the north end of the Strip.
- Entertainment: The Royal Resort has live entertainment on a nightly basis, as well as two headlining performers. One of those performers is Larry G. Jones Singer Impressionist, Jones is a dynamic entertainer, and tickets to his show are affordable!
- The Pool: The recently renovated pool and spa at the Royal Resort is one of our favorite places to visit when we stay. Four cabanas are available to guests as well as a jacuzzi tub with mini waterfalls pouring into it.
- Location: The Strip is only a short cab ride or ten minute walk from the Royal Resort, and it is also a great place to stay if you're in Vegas for a convention.
Inside Knowledge: The Royal Resort is a timeshare, as well as a regular hotel, and sometimes the timeshare sales office offers promotions where guests can stay a few nights for free if they listen to a timeshare sales pitch, which usually lasts about 90 minutes.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do Bring Workout Clothes: The Royal Resort has a fitness center that is free for guests, with treadmills, elliptical machines, and tv's to watch while you work out.
- Do Visit the Bar: The lobby bar in the Royal Resort is a great place to stop for a drink on your way out, or on your way back in. The friendly bartender will attend to all your needs.
- Don't Stay on the 5th Floor: Unless you're a smoker, avoid staying on the 5th floor at the Royal Resort, as it is the only smoking floor in the hotel, and even a non-smoking room on the floor will still have that smell.
