Why We Go: Not only is the Sahara Roller Coaster Las Vegas fun, but it's fast. The exhilarating thrill ride has many twists and turns that will have your stomach in a knot, but the beginning and end are the most thrilling parts.
- The Speed: Speed- The Ride at Sahara Las Vegas, as the name provides, specializes in top speed. The coaster goes from 0-45mph in two seconds, and from 35-70mph in another two seconds. Hold on tight for the thrill of a lifetime.
- Anticipation: This thrill ride gives guests unexpected twists and turns from the beginning to the end. The ride starts out shooting like a sling-shot, zooms through a loop, and rushes up a 224 foot tower, then goes through the whole ride again, backwards.
Inside Knowledge: There isn't warning sound before the ride begins, so as soon as you're strapped in, be prepared to be jolted at any second.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do ride safely: Be sure to pull down the shoulder bar and riders under 54 inches are not permitted to ride.
- Don't forget to smile: In the midst of screaming through the 70 mph loop, try to show your pearly whites as your souvenir photo is being taken.
