Sapphire Club - Free ride, free drink, beautiful ladies...

Las Vegas is known for a lot of things, one of which being an abundance of pretty impressive strip clubs. The Sapphire happens to be one such club and, let me tell you, this one does NOT disappoint.

There's a lot to like about the Sapphire. Before we get to the most obvious - the women - let's begin with logistics. You can actually call the Sapphire for a ride and they'll pick you up for FREE (tip not included - come on, don't be THAT GUY), plus they'll drop the cover charge (which is between $20- $30+) AND they'll give you two free drink vouchers when you ride with them.

Seriously - I'm not making this up. I thought this deal was too good to be true. It's not. If you want to go to the Sapphire, CALL THEM. I can't stress this enough.

Now, for the good parts. Once you get into the Sapphire, you'll be taken aback by how big this is place is. OK, it may take you a few minutes to notice but, once you do, you'll realize this club is pretty huge. A friend and I went on a Thursday night, and they had only half of the club open, which was still more than enough to accommodate everyone without feeling cramped. (Which, obviously, would be awkward.)

There are dozens of chairs scattered around both sides of the main stage, though for the most part they were all attached to tables with 'Reserved' signs on them. After grabbing our free beers from the bar and scanning the room for open spaces, my buddy spotted two chairs not too far from the main stage. I swear, the moment we sat down, we were swarmed by dancers.

(Quick aside: So, as a couple of guys without a ton of money, my friend and I had put in place a sort of de facto "Buddy System" in place - basically, the idea was to take our time on the dances ($20 a pop before tip) and under NO CIRCUMSTANCES would we make a trip to the ATM. I think we each had about $80 on us. You can imagine how this went...)

So, my buddy and I grab a seat, and no sooner had I turned my head to the left and he was getting his first dance of the night. I started to laugh, but it was only another second later when I, too, suddenly found a beautiful young lady sitting in my lap, telling me how 'handsome' I was and how badly she wanted to give me a dance. (Yes, I do believe she was being completely earnest.) Naturally, I obliged.

After the dance, no sooner had the young lady hopped off only to be replaced by yet another young lass. Oh my... at this rate I was going to out of money soon. As in... 15 minutes soon. I told her I had JUST had a dance and that I was good, but thanked her for her, um, interest? I can't remember exactly what I said but it was definitely that awkward. However, this dancer was not taking 'no' for an answer. We engaged in a back-and-forth that lasted at least two minutes ... me saying "I'm good" ... her telling me she's "The best" ... etc.

Anyways, after what felt like an entire song had gone by, I finally caved. She was so determined and, I mean, it's not like she was asking a favor of me or anything. So I let her do her job - as it turned out, she was a professional, alright. I think it's best if I just leave it at that, and let you find out for yourself why the Sapphire is so awesome...

The only thing that was not awesome about the Sapphire were the drink prices. After my free beer, I paid $14 for a second beer. Don't. Do. That.

However, the Sapphire redeemed itself for this (let's admit, pretty minor) flaw by printing out a receipt that said 'Sapphire Restaurant' - way to cover our butts, friends! Plus, the next day I received a text message thanking me for coming in to the Sapphire, and reminding me to call them again for another free ride and free round. This is easily the nicest strip club I've ever been to - from the ladies and the interior, to the quality and customer service. (Seriously - I've never had a strip club text me before... )

Consider me on #TeamSapphire when it comes to the best gentlemen's clubs in Vegas. Oh, and in case you were wondering, we made it 45 minutes before we ran out of cash. And we did NOT use the ATM. I'm not sure you could say we "won" but, we certainly didn't lose.
