Broadway box office history. Eric Idle (of Monty Python fame) has created a hilariously funny, live spectacle which tells the legendary
tale of King Arthur as he travels in search of the Holy Grail with his Knights of the Round Table. Along the way, they meet the Lady
of the Lake, lusty maidens, dancing divas, a killer rabbit and a host of other strange characters.

Running on Broadway, since March 2005 and directed by Mike Nichols, Spamalot received fourteen Tony nominations
and won three Tony Awards, including the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical .
