Summary
Features: This mind-blowing show stars Gerry McCambridge, a mentalist who uses his talent to amazingly read the minds of audience members in this funny and impressive show.
Why We Go: After entertaining audiences across the country for over 30 years, Gerry McCambridge has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. With the help of members of the audience, McCambridge shows off his jaw-dropping mind-reading talent.
- The Watch Trick: A volunteer in the audience is told to randomly rotate the hands of a watch until he says stop. While blindfolded, the mentalist also rotates his watch. Both watches incredibly stop at the same hour and minute.
- The Telephone Book Trick: A volunteer opens a telephone book and randomly chooses a line in a page. The mentalist then reveals that he already wrote down that same line in the beginning of the show.
Inside Knowledge: McCambridge says that he has no psychic powers but uses a variety of skills to create an illusion such as power of persuasion, memory techniques and reading body language.
Do's and Don'ts:
Do Prepare to Laugh: The Mentalist incorporates comedy into each trick and with every show being different depending on the volunteers chosen, there are unexpected laughs throughout the show.
Don't Sit in the Back: Half the fun of going to a mentalist show is getting a chance to participate. Be sure to get tickets in the front so that you stand a better chance of being chosen as a volunteer.

Blown away
We were blown away by this guy! In a series of exercises, he randomly reads the minds of various audience members and will have you guessing, "How did he do it?" The show lasted about 70 minutes and I think he even impressed a few skeptics with his abilities. Gerry uses his 'sixth sense' to "read minds" and audience participation is required. When we were there he guessed peoples names that seemed impossible to believe. Great show! A Must See when in Vegas.
