Restaurant Hotel

3.85

The Camelot-themed Excalibur Hotel Casino boasts soaring towers, a moat and one of the coolest kid friendly shows on the Strip, Tournament of Kings. In fact, the hotel has long been one of the most family friendly hotels on the Strip and its central location is perfect for kicking off your nights on the Strip.

In addition the King Arthur's Court decor and medieval shows, Excalibur also hosts a rowdy Dick's Last Resort restaurant and the giggle-worthy all-male revue Thunder From Down Under. When it comes to accommodations, Excalibur offers recently remodeled guest rooms at affordable rates.

Dine With King Arthur's Court at the Tournament of Kings

Customer Testimonial

"

Very enjoyable! I love all that period stuff, so perhaps I was a bit biased, but I had a great time. I figured it would be one of the few shows in Vegas that my toddler would enjoy too, and he actually did pretty good. The food was also very decent and the service was good too!

Summary

Features: One of the few family-friendly shows on the Strip, Tournament of Kings delivers an experience both adults and children alike can get excited about: eating food with your hands and watching grown men go medieval on eachother.

Why We Dine: While an epic battle for King Arthur's kingdom plays out in front of you, dig into a surprisingly tasty and satisfying 3-course meal.

  • "Dragons Blood": Your 3-courses kicks off with a bowl of steaming Dragon's Blood. Ok- so it's just a bowl of tomato soup, but the playful presentation and drinking it sans spoon is pure, medieval fun.
  • Knight-sized Portions: Even the burliest of warriors will walk away from this meal in a hearty food coma. After your Dragon's Blood, you're served a perfectly-cooked Cornish game hen, a twice baked potato, broccoli, and roll. For dessert it's a apple-filled pastry.

Inside Knowledge: Children 3 and under are free, but they must sit on an adult's lap and share their meal.

We Recommend:

  • Beer: Your meal comes with a soda, but for an extra charge you can toast your knight with a mug o' frosty ale.
  • Washing Your Hands: Tournament of Kings famously serves your meal without utensils, so it might be a good idea to wash your hands first. Also if you absolutely need utensils, smuggle in your own set.
