Tours on the Vegas Strip

The Las Vegas Strip is an attraction all on it's own! Take tours on the Las Vegas Strip to see the bright lights at night from the ground or sky or a tour that takes you to all the best nightclubs on the Strip. There's too much to see in Sin City to not take one of the many Las Vegas tours on the bustling Strip. Here are a couple Early Vegas favorites:

  • Las Vegas Lights Night Tour: The lights on the Las Vegas Strip are everywhere and boy are they bright! The Las Vegas Lights Night Tour takes travelers to the most famous and brightest lights on and near the Vegas Strip. See sights like the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign and the always amazing Fremont Street Experience on these Las Vegas Strip tours.
  • Sin City Club Crawl: Skip the lines and the cover charges on the Sin City Club Crawl and party in Las Vegas like VIP! For $65 a person, the Sin City Club Crawl is a real deal... especially considering how quickly covers can add up when going out in Vegas. You'll also get free appetizers to start the night off! Wouldn't want to drink on an empty stomach now. Nightclub stops include LAX at the Luxor, Haze at Aria and Tryst at the Wynn!

Scenic Vegas Tours

Scenic Vegas Tours

Some of the best things to see around Las Vegas can actually be found off of the Vegas Strip, far from the lights of the many Vegas hotels. Attractions like the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam or Red Rock Canyon make for day trips that you and your family will remember long after you've left Vegas! Get off of the Las Vegas Strip and into nature on these two great scenic Vegas tours:

  • Hoover Dam Tour: Take the kids out of Vegas and tour the Hoover Dam for a few hours! Go hundreds of feet down into the dam on the Hoover Dam Tour to get the most exclusive Hoover Dam experience around Las Vegas. With plenty of history and things to see down in the dam, the Hoover Dam Tour is one of our favorite ways to get off the Las Vegas Strip. Don't forget to ask plenty of questions!
  • Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour: The Grand Canyon is one of the most astounding natural features of America. Get out and see this wonder during your stay in Las Vegas! There are plenty of ways to get out and see the canyon; from rafting trips to Hummer excursions. Our favorite has to be the helicopter tour with a lunch at the bottom of the canyon. It is a little more expensive to do, but if you have the money, there is no better way to experience the Grand Canyon!

Family Tours Las Vegas

Family Tours Las Vegas

Bringing your kids to Las Vegas for a little vacation time? Don't stress out about finding things to do that are family friendly! There are plenty of great things to do, tours to take and attractions to see. Hotels like Circus Circus and Excalibur have perfect atmospheres for kids and also offer great deals and promotions that make staying in their rooms cheaper than you'd ever imagine!

  • Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay: The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay is our favorite aquariums in Las Vegas and let's face it... who doesn't love a good aquarium? This aquarium is the only predator based one of it's sort in the country and is full of sharks, crocodiles, piranhas and other fearsome predators of the sea! If you're certified, you can even SCUBA dive with the sharks and rays. Kids love it and so will you!
  • Adventuredome at Circus Circus: Adventuredome is tje ultimate destination for kids in Las Vegas. With 25 different rides and attractions, this five and a half acre indoor amusement park is a riot! Our favorite time to go check out Adventuredome is around Halloween. The park turns into a Halloween scare fest complete with scary actors, foggy attractions and more!

Las Vegas Tours | Tour Las Vegas for Less

Las Vegas Attractions

In a city as tourist-friendly as Las Vegas, it's hardly a surprise that there are Las Vegas tours for all interests, curiosities and budgets. With so many popular things to do in Vegas, we found it only right that we should break down the best tours in Vegas by attraction below. Here are the Las Vegas tours that give you the most in terms of experience, information and - most importantly - FUN!

Scenic Las Vegas Tours

Grand Canyon Tours

As one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon tour Las Vegas is an awe-inspiring look into the beauty of Mother Nature and one of the most popular Las Vegas attractions. Located just a few hours outside of Vegas, this is a popular destination for tourists needing respite from the chaotic casinos.

  • Hiking: We believe that the best way to truly experience the Grand Canyon is to hike along some of the beautiful canyon trails such as Bright Angel on the South Rim. Although this will take most of the day, the overpowering sense of accomplishment is well worth it.
  • Helicopter Tours: While being more costly, a Grand Canyon helicopter tour provides an unrivaled aerial perspective of this majestic natural landmark. Not only will the ride feature stunning views of the Grand Canyon but you’ll also be amazed by the sights along with way including Lake Mead, the Colorado River and the Hoover Dam.

Inside Information: National Geographic Magazine named the Grand Canyon one of the top ten places in the world to view a sunset. Wait until dusk to leave this National Park to see a spectacular sight as the desert sky illuminates with deep, breathtaking colors. This is one of the Las Vegas attractions that can not be missed.

Hoover Dam Tours

Not only is the Hoover Dam an impressive inside look in to history and hydroelectric power, but it’s also the perfect place to view the serene majesty of the colorful Mojave Desert landscape.

Hoover Dam from the sky
  • Las Vegas Desert Landscape: Surrounded by majestic canyons, colorful rock formations and pristine waters, the location of the Hoover Dam showcases the best that the desert has to offer.
  • The Vegas Hoover Dam Tour: During one of the most popular Las Vegas tours, guests are taken into every segment of the dam including cave-like passageways 530-feet under the surface. Guests will also be shown the Hoover Dam’s 17 huge generators that provide power to much of the Southwest United States.

Inside Information: As one of the Seven Wonders of the Industrial World, this Las Vegas attraction plays host to over one million visitors a year. To avoid traffic, swarms of tourists and the heat, go to the Hoover Dam early around 9am when this landmark tends to be a little more docile.

For more information about the Hoover Dam such as a travelers guide, road updates, construction and other related information, check out the official Hoover Dam website.

Las Vegas Museums

Titanic Museum Las Vegas

Housed in the Luxor Hotel and Casino, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is a fascinating tribute to this “unsinkable” legend. More than 300 artifacts from the sunken ship are on display including 20 never-before-seen items such as gaming chips and passenger papers. It's unique look into the Titanic has made it one of the most popular Las Vegas attractions.

Front of the Titantic
  • The Largest Piece: The Titanic Artifact Exhibition features the largest piece of the ship ever recovered from the wreckage, a 15 ton, 26-foot-long chunk of the Titanic’s hull.
  • Boarding Passes: Before entering this Las Vegas museum, guests are given a boarding pass representing a real Titanic passenger. This gives guests a vested interest in a passenger as they follow their story up until the end when they discover if the passenger was one of the 705 who survived.

Inside Information: Unfortunately, this is one of the Las Vegas museums where photography is prohibited. However, for those looking for a souvenir, there is a professional photographer at the Artifact Exhibition who can take a photo of you in front of the Titanic’s famous Grand Staircase.

Bodies the Exhibition Las Vegas

Showcasing 13 whole-body specimens and more than 260 organs, Bodies the Exhibition is an intriguing and captivating in-depth look into the human body and one of the most popular Las Vegas museums. Located in the Luxor Hotel and Casino, this educational exhibit features nine rooms dedicated of the body including respiratory, digestive, muscular and circulatory.

  • Educational: Offering guests advice to prevent diseases and improve their quality of life, Bodies the Exhibition is an educational and informative look into modern medical science.
  • Fetal Development: In the most sensitive section of the exhibit, the different development stages of a baby are on display including various birth defects like conjoined twins.

Inside Information: The bodies on display in this fascinating exhibit are mainly those of Chinese prisoners that agreed to donate their bodies to science when they passed. To prevent the bodies from decaying, all of the tissue and water is replaced with silicone rubber, a process known as polymer preservation.

For more information about the best ways to get around Las Vegas and take your own personal tour, visit the official Las Vegas Monorail System website or the Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada.
