Treasure Island Las Vegas Summary

Features: Treasure Island Las Vegas Hotel on the Strip is an epicenter for all Vegas vacationers. Recently renovated in 2006, this pirate-themed Las Vegas hotel now offers things to do for a more adult-oriented clientele. Browse EarlyVegas for deals at the Treasure Island Las Vegas Hotel.

Why We Stay:

  • The Quay: A freeform, heated outdoor Las Vegas pool and a spa tub are surrounded by cabanas with flat-screen televisions and food and beverage service.
  • Social House: An Asian-style eatery that serves Sake and Sushi amid towering bamboo, birdcages, black-cushioned sofas, Asian newspapers and industrial fans.
  •  Wet: The blue and cream tones soothe at the three-story Spa And Salon at Treasure Island Hotel in Vegas, which beckons with The Mars And Venus Package, and includes stone massage, men's facials, aromatherapy massage and manicures and pedicures.

Inside Knowledge: Ask for a room with a view of the Treasure Island Siren Show, where pirate ships battle against the sirens of Treasure Island, complete with fireworks on the Quay.

Do's and Don'ts:

  • Don't Rent a Car: Given the center-Strip location featured at Treasure Island, you'd have to be crazy to rent a car; if you really need to get around, take a walk on the pedestrian walkway connecting the TI to many other hotels on the Vegas Strip.
  • Do Bring Your Bathing Suit: The scenic pool at Treasure Island Hotel Las Vegas is the best place to relax on the Strip during one of the record hot Vegas afternoons.

Siren show sucked

Siren show suckedTreasure Isalnd was a very nice hotel. The inside was beautiful, the buffet was quite good. And the rooms were even nice. But the one thing that really made me wonder was Sirens of TI show. It had to be the worst show I have ever seen in my life. I remember people leaving 10 minutes into the show cause it was so bad. Pretty raunchy show with the worst acting I have ever seen. Glad my kids didn't go there to see it. It dropped my rating way down.

Good but not too impressive

Good but not too impressiveI just returned from a 5 day vacation at TI. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. After touring the Mirage and the Venetian I don't think I could ever be satisfied with TI for any future vacations. There were long lines to all the restaurants only to find the food very average and overpriced. I got a great internet rate for the room so I felt I got a pretty good value for such a centrally located 4 star hotel. Boy were their slots tight! None of us could win anything!

best location

We travel 3 times a year to Vegas 2 hr flight to fun in the sun. Love the location of the TI I, mean the shopping is at your doorstep. the beds are some of the best on the strip and I dont find it too smoky there. The Wynn across the strip. And all the big shows all around you....Great location. The show outside just too crowded for my comfort though. But if you stay at hotel you can watch the show from bar and restaurant alsofrom other locations in the hotel. Make res. soon as you arrive for one night was great!!!!!! Van. Canada

Another good stay at T I

What can I say....this hotel is pretty nice for the money and for all the excitement in and around it, the restaurants are all good, the rooms are clean, a little dated but all in all nice. At T I you get what you pay for, and that means you get a nice hotel room, good service, good food and just in general, a nice place to stay. The shows were good too, Mystere was an awesome show and so was the Cirque de Soleil show, we hit in the casino for a nice amount too. I would go back to T I, hands down.

The suites are nice but showing serous age problems

The suites are nice but showing serous age problemsTreasure Island or TI as it calls itself now has made an attempt to move away from a family theme to a sexy theme. The result is a bit convoluted. The worst is the Sirens of TI show that replaced the excellent pirate battle show. It is supposed to be sexy but it ends up just being stupid, and childishly silly. The so called Sirens remind me of a high school senior class production. While it is a good idea to get away from attracting too many children to this over crowded area, they should go back to the original pirate battle and scrap this nonsense. With lines like,"Ahoy!" "Who you calling a 'Hoy'." it can only make one cringe. Perhaps if they want a sexy routine they should find someone to create one who has graduated high school. One great part of TI is an ecclectic and fun casual restaurant called Kahunaville. It is directly accross from the Cirque du Soleil show Mystere. It has a tropical theme, interesting visual features such as dancing waters, friendly service and delicious dishes. The best part is it will not break your budget. At night it becomes a Club with "Flare" bartenders (that flip and juggle the bottles) and a dancing wait staff. All in all it is a lot of fun and you cannot beat the price. You can find dinner and show packages for Kahunnaville and Mystere.

Playful and other-worldly, Cirque du Soleil's original Las Vegas masterpiece continues to dazzle audiences as it reaches its 20 year anniversary on the Strip. Audience members young and old alike have made Mystere one of the most successful Cirque endeavors ever.

In addition to the Circle of Life storyline, Mystere also incorporates humor into the plot line. Mystere at Treasure Island features the stunning acrobatics and staging you've come to expect from the renowned performance troupe.

Treasure Island Las Vegas Restaurants

Boasting amazing views of the Las Vegas Strip and the Siren's Cove pirate show, Khotan provides guests with a hip and trendy atmosphere while serving Asian fusion cuisine.

The decor is similar to that of a night club with dark, seductive lighting. Pay attention to the accessories on the walls. Khotan has the nation's largest private collection of jade and ivory antiques.

Be sure to try one of the most popular sushi rolls at Khotan, the pay roll, or one of their unique specialty dishes such as the fish fusion.

Treasure Island's Kahunaville bar and restaurant is an island oasis on the Strip. There's always a party happening in this Caribbean-themed paradise, and the highlight of the party happens at the bar. The famous Flair Bartenders, or Flairtenders if you will, dazzle crowds of bar patrons nightly with their amazing feats of bottle juggling skill.

The food is also praise-worthy and follows the island theme with popular Jamaican jerk chicken and coconut shrimp menu options. Fun for the entire family awaits at Kahunaville.

Isla Mexican Kitchen in Treasure Island burst onto the Las Vegas dining scene in 2004, offering unique twists on classic Mexican fare. The dining room is funky and casually elegant with an impressive bar and lounge area.

Along with great food, Isla takes its collection of tequilas very seriously. With over 100 varieties and a sexy Tequila Goddess offering suggestions, you're sure to discover your new favorite margarita.

As a traditional Southern-style saloon, Gilley's offers guests the chance to experience savory BBQ, bull riding, line dancing and country music. For some classic down home cooking, try our favorite Gilley's dishes, the award-winning pork green chili and their signature baby back ribs.

This casual restaurant doubles as a rowdy bar at night with live music, cold beer and bikini bull riding. Don't be fooled by the gorgeous Gilley's Girls. Their cocktails sure do pack a punch. After gaining enough liquid courage, grab your honey for the two-step.

Pho Vietnamese cuisine at Treasure Island in Las Vegas is the strip's only authentic Vietnamese restaurant.  Pho at Treasure Island seats about thirty, and is so close to the casino floor you can play KENO from your table.  Pho is known for its rice dishes and for the signature dish that its named after called, Pho.  Pho the dish is beef broth with noodles, spices and fresh herbs.  Pho the restaurant is a great place grab Vietnamese without leaving the Las Vegas strip.

Phil's Italian Steakhouse Las Vegas offers an eclectic mix of fine cuts of sirloin, fresh seafood, and Tuscan Italian specialties.  The atmosphere at Phil's Italian Steakhouse at Treasure Island is upscale contemporary and diners can be found wearing a mix of semi-formal fashions and jeans.  People swear by the quality and tastiness of Phil's prime cuts and pasta dishes.  Diners interested in a price fixed menu can choose from a custom tasting menu which features a smaller sized entree, side and appetizer for around thirty dollars.

The Buffet at TI is an all-you-can-eat experience offering cuisines from around the world including Chinese, Italian, BBQ and Japanese. It even features a very popular pho station as well as some colorful cotton candy at their dessert station. This casual eatery is perfect for those who are very hungry as there is a lot of food here to fill up on.

They say the dining at Senor Frog's Las Vegas is casual, but the only thing casual about this place may be the hookup you leave with when it closes at 4am! This is the go-to restaurant for fun in Mexico and Hawaii, and they brought that party to Las Vegas where it belongs! Enjoy a burger or Mexican dish and a margarita and get this party started!

The Seafood Shack Vegas is an affordable option for a great fish dinner on the Las Vegas Strip. Bring everybody for a delicious meal that includes fresh daily catches!

Treasure Island Las Vegas Nightlife

An ultra lounge on the casino floor of the Treasure Island, Mist walks a fine line between upscale swankiness and a casual vibe, which, as it turns out, is a winning combination. At Mist you won't find a lot of people from the "here to be seen" crowd, but rather, a patronage that enjoy a good drink and comfortable surroundings.

There's no need to wait in line for Mist, as the lounge has a come and go policy that allows guests to get some gambling in on the casino floor, and then go back into Mist to hear all of the hottest music, spun by DJ Silence.

Found inside the Treasure Island, with a patio that juts out from the southern facade of the hotel, Tangerine is the premiere nightclub at the TI. Drenched in various shades of orange, Tangerine features an energy that is both vibrant and laid-back, complete with go-go dancers and plenty of space to dance, or to hang out and have a drink.

For an unmatched view of the Siren show at TI, guests can get to Tangerine before the final performance, and have an unmatched view of the spectacle from the patio. After the show, the music and dancing will be at a fever pitch back inside Tangerine.

Gilley's Saloon is a Southern-style barbecue and sports bar at Treasure Island known around the Strip for its mechanical bull, late-night line-dancing and cheap drink specials nightly. Gilley's also has a stage attracting the best Honky Tonk bands around, and they offer up karaoke entertainment several nights a week.

Treasure Island Las Vegas Pools

2.35

The Treasure Island Pool is shaped and landscaped in the spirit of a secluded Caribbean lagoon—a design that sets a tone of carefree relaxation under the sun. The atmosphere of the pool also encourages the more outgoing guests to mingle and have fun together, as evidenced by the huge spa tub that can hold 50 people!

The party at the TI Pool really heats up on the weekends, when guests come to spend the day enjoying cocktails, dance music, and an easy-going vibe that invites pool-goers to let loose and have some fun.
