The Rio Hotel and Casino is a 2,500 room Carnival-themed hotel with a 100,000-square-foot casino floor, 19 restaurants and several shows including Penn and Teller and Chippendales. Located just off the Strip on Flamingo Road, the Rio boasts phenominal views of the glitzy Vegas skyline. One of the hotel's main attractions is the free Mardi Gras-themed show in which gorgeous dancers throw beads to the crowd on the casino floor from rotating floats on the ceiling.

Customer Testimonial

"

I love this place! I want to fly back to LV just to eat here! I would get a full plate of crab legs, lobster tails, claws.. I try to eat little to no starch in this meal, I want to fill up on seafood! It's always fresh and there's so much variety.

Summary

Features: Resting in the Rio Hotel and Casino, Village Seafood Buffet in Las Vegas offers one of the only all-seafood buffets in the city. While the 13,000-square-foot restaurant features modern and sophisticated decor, the food is what serves as the centerpiece of the restaurant with mounds of fresh seafood in the middle ready for hungry restaurant-goers to indulge.

Why We Dine: Buffets in Las Vegas are as common as dice on a craps table, but the Village Seafood Buffet separates itself from the rest. Being able to focus solely on seafood gives them the advantage of serving some of the best and trust us, they don’t disappoint.

  • International Cuisine: The Village Seafood Buffet in Las Vegas doesn’t just offer standard fish filets and crab legs. There are seven stations in this top Las Vegas buffet which serve the best staple seafood dishes from regions around the world such as the Mediterranean, South America and the Pacific Rim.
  • The Ambiance: This top Las Vegas buffet features a modern and tranquil interior with a dramatic entry way, art inspired by the high seas and large ornate sculptures.

Inside Knowledge: All the foods and dessert at the Las Vegas Village Seafood Buffet are made fresh in-house.

We Recommend:

  • Lobster Tail: Trying the lobster tail at the Village Seafood Buffet in Las Vegas is a must! Make sure you time it so that you can dig in right when they put a fresh pan out!
  • Gelato: Those with a sweet tooth rejoice! The dessert section of the Las Vegas Village Seafood Buffet houses a homemade gelato station with more than twenty different kinds including chocolate, pistachio and tiramisu.
