Summary
Features:Featuring fun and psychedelic hits from the era of Beatles invasion, this 60's themed Cirque du Soleil show will have you falling in LOVE with the classic pop-rock hits and the stunning performances of Cirque's ridiculously talented performers.
Why We Go:While there are less aerobatic performances in LOVE Cirque du Soleil than are featured in many Cirque du Soleil shows, the dance numbers are choreographed with a sense of order in chaos. However, our two favorite scenes are the magical moments when Cirque shines in simplicity.
- Lucy's Diamonds: The gravity defying magic that happens when "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" hits the speakers is breathtaking. I don't want to spoil anything, go see it.
- Sunshine Daydream: The almost uncannily mellow tribal dance for "Here Comes the Sun" is about the opposite of what you would except at a Cirque du Soleil show, but they do it so well.
Inside Knowledge: At one point in the show, a "special effect" is drawn over the audiences heads. If you want to continue to see the show while this brief scene is underway, you'll want to be above row N or M. Trust us, at LOVE Cirque du Soleil, closer isn't necessarily better, get a seat with a view.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do Arrive Early:Cast members in full costume will be trailing around outside the theater and inside before the show starts, don't miss the chance to get a little up-close interaction. Staying after is also a lot of fun.
- Don't Buy the Large Drinks:The bar just outside the LOVE Theater serves custom Beatles-themed cocktails in small and large cups. The large will run you about $30 and looks worth it. Trust us, it is way too much booze for a 90-minute show.

I Fell in LOVE with Cirque du Soleil
Not only was LOVE my first Cirque du Soleil experience, but it was my first Las Vegas show ever. The only downside to that is I'm afraid other shows may not live up to my new found expectations. As a huge Beatles fan, I knew going into it that I would dig the soundtrack, but I had no idea the renditions would be so moving. The show combined chaotic choreographed dances with the amazing Cirque-style acrobatics, singing and acting.
One of my personal highlights of the show was a sequence where shadows of each of the four Beatles band members danced from behind projection screens, as their speaking and singing voices sounded through the entire place. Also, at one point in the show, an enormous circus-style tent covered a good portion of the audience, including my section. We were consumed by the show, literally becoming part of the masterful production, so if you want this experience, I recommend sitting below rows M and N.
Before the show, and afterward, cast members in full character interacted with the crowd, which made the audience feel like we were part of the production as well. Overall, the show portrayed pop culture relevant to the time of the Beatles invasion and artful interpretations of the lyric and song meanings, which I found absolutely stunning to the eyes, ears and heart. I left feeling happier than when I walked in, full of excitement-LOVE made an instant fan of Cirque du Soleil.

Brilliant brilliant brilliant
We'd never seen a Cirque du Soleil show before, and this has made us want to see all of them (but I could probably watch Love over and over).
We got the cheapest seats, which were excellent - you're higher up so get a fantastic view of everything - in my opinion better than the more expensive, lower seats where you'll see more of the action straight-on.
The spectacle was amazing but it's really the music that makes this show - it sounded incredible, just a reminder of how much talent the Beatles had to produce such a variety of music over a relatively short period of time.
Too many highlights to name - the time flew past - just a pity it's only in Vegas as I now want everyone I know to see this!
