Wynn Las Vegas Summary

Features: The Wynn Las Vegas, having earned five-star and five-diamond ratings, is the highest rated luxury resort in Las Vegas. The Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas features 2,716 gorgeous rooms and suites, many with floor-to-ceiling windows and views of the Strip. The Wynn Resort in Vegas is also the only hotel on the Strip with access to it's very own, neighboring 18 hole golf-course, designed by Tom Fazio.

There is a wealth of activities at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel Resort, from their amazing spa to the hottest Las Vegas nightclubs and the best fine dining on the Strip. Additionally, the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel features some of the most prestigious shopping in Vegas and a three-acre lake and pine-covered artificial mountain for outdoor enthusiasts staying on the Vegas Strip. Don't miss the ultimate in luxury at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.

Why We Stay: The award-winning Wynn Resort in Las Vegas, is known for catering to the most pampered and prestigious of travelers. Even if you're not the highest of high rollers -- or a high roller at all -- you can get the kind of service normally reserved for stars.

  • The Poolside Cabanas: With ceiling fans, private lounge chairs, and HD televisions, the cabanas at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas are like no other. Alternatively, stay in one of the Tower Suites for access to a private pool. Oh, the luxury.
  • Private, High-limit Gaming: That's right, high limit slots, baccarat, and table areas are all available in the 100,000 square-foot casino in the Tower Suites Hotel. Be a high roller and lose your money in absolute privacy.
  • Personal Shoppers: With some of the highest end shops to peruse, from Cartier and Chanel to Louis Vuitton, the Esplanade of the Wynn and Encore Las Vegas hotels is a high-end boutique paradise. You'll need a guide to help you through it all.

Inside Knowledge: The Wynn Las Vegas Golf Course, the only course in such proximity to the Strip, is incredibly popular. Tee times can be booked up to 90 days in advance -- so if you want to guarantee you get out on the links, it's best to plan ahead.

Do's and Don'ts:

  • Do Bring your clubs: With such easy access to one of the best golf courses in Vegas, it would be foolish to leave the clubs at home. Even in the winter, golfing in Vegas is great.
  • Do Dress up: The Wynn Hotel in Vegas is one of the classiest hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, and it's wise to dress accordingly. This doesn't mean a suit all day, but you'll find a hard time getting into anywhere but the pool in a tee-shirt, shorts and sneakers.
  • Don't Touch the Art: Steve Wynn has some of his classic artwork on display around the hotel including the art of Rembrandt, Renoir, Monet and Picasso, and they're all originals!
  • Don't Try to Catch the Monorail: The tragically inefficient public rails of Las Vegas might be OK to catch from this northernly point on the Strip, but the Wynn recently opted out, and the stop is now unused. Don't be caught waiting.

Wynn Las Vegas - it's all about the BED

Okay so I have stayed at some very nice properties, in Hawaii, Laguna, San Francisco, New York, Austin, Dallas, Miami, San Diego, London, Phoenix and other Vegas hotels, and the bedding at the Wynn is by far the most delicious.  Our room had starch white but extremely soft, fluffy sheets and comforters.  After a full day ranging from laying out at the pool to partying until 2am, the bed was THE most comfortable that I had ever experienced (outside of my own home).  Literally  I felt as if I had been enveloped, and  easily slept in until 10am.  Woke up extremely relaxed and ready for another crazy day.  The room minus the casino, amazing pool, restaurants and flowers is a confection in itself.

Wynn Las Vegas - floral arrangements/decor are worth a stop

When you enter the hotel/casino you will notice the most beautiful floral arrangements everywhere. Literally, there are huge topiary balls of flowers suspended over the casino. I have heard they spend upwards of $200,000 a day just on these majestic pieces that you wouldn’t see at even the most extravagant wedding. The colors and smells are breathtaking. Even if you can't afford a room, stop by to take a stroll to witness the opulence of the Wynn. It's truly indescribable.

Great first visit!

This was my 1st time in Vegas, so I went all out and stayed at the Wynn last month for 5 nights. I must admit that I think it was the most luxurious & comfortable bed I have ever slept in!! The room service is impeccable..I think this may be the only hotel where the rooms are cleaned twice a day, they are cleaning your room in the morning then again in the evening. The bathroom...unbelievable, There are 2 separate basins...for him & her...so u don't have to be fighting for mirror space. The pool area is gorgeous...along with the cabanas & jacuzzi....there is an area for topless sunbathing for those who want a tan where the sun doesn't shine;) This is by far the classiest & most chic hotel on the strip, and private..it is peaceful....they do not allow strollers, Food is a little expensive for those on a budget, but there is a food court. If you are looking for a first-class hotel with 5 star restaurants and great service, stay here., I will definitely be going back to Wynn!

Superb!

This hotel is all class. The room was gorgeous. The beds are superb and the sheets are Egyptian cotton. The room was huge and had high ceilings. The service is superb as well. The bathroom had a nice flat panel above the tub which was convenient. I like that this hotel is extremely clean and classy in every way. The pools and cabanas are also very gorgeous and a relaxing place to hang out especially after a late night at the casino. The buffet was also really good offering all types of different food from around the globe.

Luxurious and relaxing

I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Vegas. We've stayed at Mandalay Bay, Paris, Planet Hollywood, and Bally's prior to this trip. All of the staff was very attentive and polite. Check in was a breeze and we got exactly what we wanted - our two rooms close to each other and each with 2 beds. We spent a lot of time at the pool, which was outstanding.

Sweet Place for Entertaining

I had a great time partying at the Wynn hotel. We hung at Tryst and spent way too much money

I like the virtual tours of the Wynn pool showing off all the hotties. I didn't see them on this site but I know they are out there. Google it maybe..

Book a room facing the strip for the best views and you can catch the show down below..

Simply marvelous

The Wynn is a little pricey but well worth the money and the stay, we were treated good by the staff and service was excellent, our room was very nice, comfortable bed, big bathroom and an awesome view overlooking the mountains and golf course. Slots galore in the casino, great restaurants and the club was great also. I definitely recommend the Wynn for a top rate time while in Vegas.

Worth the big money

The Wynn is the place you go if you want to actually spend some time in your room; a romantic vacation maybe, a honeymoon, that sort of thing. If you're like "Most" people who go to Vegas, it's too much because you don't spend any time in your room to enjoy the features. But, for those who do sleep more than two hours a night, there's a big flat screen television, spacious rooms with amazingly comfortable beds, gigantic bathrooms with televisions and jet tub. AWESOME.

Wynn Las Vegas

A class act in a town where there is certainly plenty of competition. Lovely pool and landscaping.  Food and beverages pricey but good.

Very welcoming to gay traveler (such as myself) seeking an upscale, hip, sophisticated scene.

Fabulous pool, rooms, and on-site shopping!

Wynn

After a fabulous stay at the Bellagio before, I like the Wynn even more.  I got a great deal by booking a vacation package which included air, hotel, and car.  It is a gorgeous hotel.  The room was very spacious with awesome view of the golf course, and the mountain.  The hotel staff were very accommodating.  The hotel offers all types of cuisines to choose from with excellent food.  You will not be disappointed at this five star hotel.  I think this is the best hotel/casino on the strip.

The Wynn is an exceptional property

The Wynn is an exceptional property.  It is absolutely gorgeous.  The hotel room was large, elegant, and very clean with a great view of the strip and the beautiful mountains.  The bed was absolutely heavenly.  I loved the bathroom which was larger than my bedroom at home.  The pool was really nice, and I had a wonderful time.  The only drawback was that checking in was a bit of a headache, standing in line for almost a half hour.  fortunately all I needed to do to check out was call the front desk.  I will be back next year!!

If you consider yourself a Monty Python fanatic, there's no other show for you in Las Vegas like Spamalot at the Wynn. Starring Seinfeld's John O'Hurley, a bevy of bodacious maidens and one rabid rabbit, this is a laugh-a-minute spectacle that will leave you rolling in the aisles. Audience participation is encouraged, nay required, as the Spamalot crew will come after you with swords drawn unless you start singing along.

Wynn Las Vegas Restaurants

Leave the glitz of the Strip behind you as you step into the tranquil respite that is Okada in the Wynn. Serving authentic teppanyaki and robata cooking and expertly prepared sushi and sashimi, Okada is guaranteed to please the Japanese foodie within.

The dining space offers a calm and soothing environment accented by a soaring waterfall and a koi-filled pond, as well as a traditional Japanese garden.

Elegant and understated just like the hotel it calls home, Tableau at the Wynn is a lovely dining respite for breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch. The bright and airy atrium is the perfect environment to enjoy a mellow morning meal, or opt to soak up the sun and views of the Wynn's pool when you dine on the patio. With impeccable service and award-winning food, Tableau is a top-notch destination for your next meal.

Wing Lei in the Wynn Las Vegas Resort and Casino is a really special place. It was the first fine-dining Chinese restaurant in the country to receive the prestigious Michelin Star.

The menu consists of refined food with a modern take. The mix of Cantonese, Shanghai and Szechaun-style cuisine offers variety to the menu while still sticking to the restaurant's Asian roots. Wing Lei has an elegant and enchanting ambiance with blooming pomegrante trees and throne-like seating. The Las Vegas experience is transcended by an evening at Wing Lei.

Executive chef Alessandro Stratta wows culinary aficionados at his eponymous restaurant in the Wynn, Alex. French Riviera-inspired cuisine is beautifully presented and served by a thoroughly educated staff in one of the most dazzling dining rooms in the city. An extensive wine selection and tantalizing dessert menu round out what promises to be an amazing epicurean adventure.

Chef Paul Bartolotta, winner of two James Beard awards, brings convivial Italian coastal cuisine to the Wynn Las Vegas.  It is difficult to imagine that a promise to deliver on fresh Italian seafood in the middle of the Nevada desert is one that any chef could make in good faith.  But Bartolotta's has fresh meditteranean seafood delivered from the Italian coast to the restaurant daily.  Leave it to Las Vegas and Bartolotta's to provide diners with such an incredible, gastronomic gift.  Aside from the not so small feat of flying fresh Italian seafood in from the Italian coast every day, Bartolotta's elegant ambiance and exceptional service promises a night to remember.

SW Steakhouse at the Wynn encompass fine dining at its best.  An immaculate menu full of fresh ingredients, quality cuts of meat, succulent sides and divine desserts matches a brilliantly styled dining environment. Guests can chow down on fine American cuisine in the eloquent dining room or opt for patio seating to catch the Lake of Dreams come to life in a dining-side water show. The festival of flavorful gourmet fare and captivating entertainment makes SW Steakhouse a step above the rest.

Along with receiving the "best buffet in Las Vegas 2009" award from the Las Vegas Review Journal, the buffet at Wynn Las Vegas is undeniably the most popular buffet on the Strip.  Don't miss 16 different fresh food stations or champagne brunch on the weekends!

Wynn Las Vegas Nightlife

4.3

With all of the new nightclubs that continually pop up in Vegas, it is no small feat to remain high on the list of top clubs on the Strip, but Tryst does just that, with features that make it hard not to consider it the best club in Las Vegas every night of the year. The sexiest Vegas crowds pass through the doors of the Tryst on a nightly basis to party until the wee hours of the morning.

The centerpiece of the Tryst's design is a 90-foot waterfall, that cascades into a beautiful tree-lined lagoon, it is hard to believe that this marvel is in a club. Tryst is a hotspot for celebrities, "the it crowd," and everyone else who wants the most luxurious club experience in Vegas.

Blush at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas is somewhere between an upscale lounge and a small nightclub. The venue is more of an acquired taste than many of the nightlife destinations on the Strip, which draw in tourists like pencil shavings to a magnet. The chic decor accents the intimate space, and presents visitors with the option for a upscale and relaxing night out.

The vibe and the decor also combine to make the perfect location for a bachelorette party, especially if the participants are looking for a more intimate evening, as opposed to the requisite grinding and spilled drinks of a mega club.

Parasol Up & Down at the Wynn Las Vegas offers an upscale venue for a few drinks and mingles. This Vegas lounge has a menu of specialty cocktails that will surely delight your taste buds, and even though the prices are steep, they are strong enough to delight your friends at your expense after a few too many. Come and enjoy a relaxing time, overlooking the Lake of Dreams.

Wynn Las Vegas Pools

5

As one might expect, the Wynn has taken luxury to a whole new level at the hotel's pool, with mansion-esque cabanas, and beautiful architecture, all guests who stop by the pool will feel like royalty. The elegant design of the Wynn Pool includes two pools and multiple jacuzzis that are all interconnected through a channel system that gently directs the water.

Cabana rental is the ultimate indulgence at the Wynn Pool, and features a personal server, while the more daring adult visitors can visit the topless pool for a cocktail and some gambling.
