Sirens of TI: Once known as the number one attraction for youngsters on the Strip, the Sirens of TI has recently been morphed into an adult oriented production featuring sexy female temptresses battling renegade pirates. Located at the entrance of Treasure Island, this free 18 minute show is now best described as the Pussycat Dolls meets Pirates of the Caribbean.

Show in the Sky: The Rio Hotel and Casino offers vacationers the chance to experience Mardi Gras in a Vegas casino. This free energetic show features a bevy of bead throwing, intricate costumes and floats gliding on the ceiling. For a more adult Fat Tuesday experience, check out the 11pm showing when the Rio brings burlesque to Bourbon Street.

Fall of Atlantis: Deep inside the high-end Forum shops at Caesars Palace, the Fall of Atlantis entertains shoppers in between purchases. This free seven minute show is perfect for travelers of all ages. It features animatronic figures, lasers, water, fog and fire effects.

Bellagio Fountains: Known worldwide, the Bellagio Fountains is a must see Las Vegas attraction. This free iconic show is an impressive display of choreographed water, lights and music that never fails to impress kids and adults alike.

Oddly enough, there seem to be animals everywhere you look in this desert town. Las Vegas plays host to some of the most over-the-top animal habitats in the country and many of them are free.

Lion Habitat: Located in the heart of the MGM Grand, the lion habitat allows travelers to have an up close encounter with the king of the jungle. This facility even features a tunnel with a clear glass roof where guests can view the lions from the belly up.

Flamingo Habitat: The Flamingo Hotel and Casino appropriately placed a few of its’ namesake friends in a poolside habitat. The facility, which is also home to swans, ducks and turtles, is perfect for your kids to learn and enjoy. Trainers are often nearby providing all sorts of inside information.

Mirage Aquarium: You would have to be blind folded at check-in to miss the Mirage’s 20,000 gallon fish tank behind the front desk. Providing a tranquil setting, the impressive aquarium is home a wide array of coral and sea creatures.

  • Lion Habitat at MGM Grand: Big cat lovers head to this free lion enclosure to view descendants of the famous MGM Studio lion. Watch these powerful felines get fed by their trainer, Keith Evans, and learn about preservation campaigns to save this beautiful beast. Also be sure to check out the gift shop and take a fuzzy friend home with you.
    • Inside Information: Sometimes the trainer will bring out lion cubs for photo ops and petting near the gift shop.
  • The Sirens of TI: Find some booty at Treasure Island’s free outdoor theatrical dance spectacular. Bawdy babes and rowdy pirates rumble it out on the 135,000 pound sinking ship in Siren’s Cove. Be warned: this show isn’t for kids.
    • Inside Information: A VIP viewing area is available for Treasure Island Hotel guests.
  • Fall of Atlantis Show at Caesars Palace: Watch a typical fountain in the Caesars Palace Forum Shops transform into a talking animatronic show conveying the legendary myth of the fall of Atlantis with exhilarating visual effects. Kids love the volcano eruption in this 7-minute show. Also, behind the fountain sits a 50,000-gallon saltwater aquarium containing over 100 species of ocean life including tropical puffers, flounders and sharks.
    • Inside Information: You can watch a diver hand feed the aquarium’s sea creatures at 1:15 pm and 5:15 pm everyday of the week.
  • CBS Television City Research Center at the MGM Grand: Get paid to lounge on the couch in front of the boob tube! At the CBS Television Research Center, you’ll preview never before seen shows from networks like CBS, MTV and Nickelodeon. Afterwards, answer a quick survey about the show and get paid $15.
