Features: Fitzgeralds Casino and Hotel is located in Downtown Las Vegas, right off the Fremont Street promenade. A popular stop for passersby, Fitzgeralds is also a great option for an all-access stay in Downtown Las Vegas. This luck-of-the-Irish themed hotel is the tallest hotel Downtown with 34-stories, two of which belong to the casino.
Fitzgeralds also remodeled its 638 rooms in 2003 and they now feature either a King or two Double beds, two chairs and a table, and a smattering of amenities that includes cable T.V. with premium channels. In addition to simple, comfortable and affordable rooms, Fitzgerald's Las Vegas has a massive casino floor with cheap table minimums and scads of slots and table games.

- Do Respect the Patio: If you throw things off the Fitzgeralds' balcony, you will get into trouble (or at least be attacked by angry locals). And watch your drinks, they've been know to disappear into the hands of drunks and over-eager cleaning crews.
- Do Visit the Golden Nugget: Swing by the neighboring four-star hotel and visit their centerpiece, the world's largest golden nugget, discovered in 1980 and purchased by the hotel for a rumored $1 million.
- Don't Miss Nathan's Hot Dogs: The hot dogs are super cheap at neighboring Binion's, though their casino has seen better days. Don't eat here if you're picky, but if you want a laugh and some over-friendly servers, jump in line for a dog and some fries.
- Don't Eat at McDonald's: How much food advice can we give? Well, if you take any, take this: Vegas is not a place for fast food. Especially with great, cheap options all around. The Fitzgeralds might have a McD's, that doesn't mean you have to go.

Our stays at the Fitz have been a pleasure over the last five years. A friendly staff and it’s convienence make us come back over and over again. The room rates are very competitive and the other Fremont Street hotels which are close and easy to visit make this a must see. There is always something going on under the Fremont Street Experience.

Stayed at Fitzgerald's for three nights. Hotel was a good value....enjoyed the Fremont location and the view out of our balcony for the Fremont experience. The room was decent and clean nothing fancy but adequate.Restaurant buffet for breakfast was great...good selection and price....if we were to stay downtown again we would ONLY stay at Fitzgerald's, it was a good bang for the buck!

Not too bad
Not too badWe stayed here for a week, it cost less to stay for the week than what it would have cost to stay on the Strip for a couple nights. We didn't have much cause to complain. We had a spacious room on 25th floor, with nice views. The decor is a little old and worn, and our tub had marks on the bottom, but the room was cleaned well every day. We really Liked the Freemont Street experience, and the Fitz has a bar with a balcony overlooking the Street - reasonably priced drinks and a great place to watch.
